I think we've done the football gossip for a while - there seems to be very little to discuss - hence I looked over this old thread and thought it needed a dusting down a little.

No change in my Top 4 - except for DT's name - and I'm throwing in Ellers at number 5 for squaring off the Cernygate investigation and Beth at 6 for her drunken monologue.

Just read through almost the whole friggin' thread thinking it was current and there'd been a sudden rush of mutual appreciation overnight (doh!).

Belfast's right, I'm a bit of a fence sitter on this one but most (and probably all) names mentioned tend to add a great deal of interest to my day with their observations.

And then there are others sitting in midfield somewhere that are worth a mench - and yes, Kiwi that does include you! Also (off the top of my head) includes the likes of QPAAAAAGH, Grinning cur, Flanman, Woody, Judo, Peruvian, Yorkie, rrrr's, Tramore, Gimmethickerhoops (especially for his artwork), Awjm, Inky, Rodney, Husky, MelburnIan, Igor, Kilburn, Ciarrai, Aussie, BelfastR, Ninj, CORKeR and a host of others including the much improved yet still maligned Yappy!!

Threads like this may be a bit gushy but they do cause you to think what it is that makes you choose to stay with this forum as opposed to the various others on offer. Great array of talent imo. So much more to offer than the pro media - used to be an avid consumer but rarely bother with them these days.

Special mention goes to NUTS as a great poster and of course co-mod. Also Queenslander, Oslo and Imaz for their stubborn / persistant defences of their truths!

Finally, the names of those who've probably given me the MOST enjoyment over the past year or so: Pirate, Uber and our moody young sage Stan (SB_73)!

So, in short Sku, even if you extended your list to 10 or even 20, it couldn't do justice to all those who keep this place rocking on a reg. Nice try though!

I must say, when Northy orginally left I feared for this site, and if it wasn't for Brix's steady hand on the wheel (ably assisted by Goldie and Nuts) I think it may of all fallen to pieces. But since those few rocky post-Northy months, the place has instead become ever more diverse and interesting (for which a special mention should go to El Pirata I think, who has been a most welcome recent addition).

Whatever happened to James The One and Aerospacemango, eh? Also, haven't heard from Liverpool RRRs for a while.
