It was always going to be a dodgy eastern European team, or Italian team at fault. Something as high profile as Barcelonas rightful victory over you in 2009 would never have been fixed.

Personally I though Harry the tax dodger may have been involved.

Of course everyone involved in a 'fixed' match doesn't have to be involved. The more the merrier the match fixers would agree I'm sure, but I'm certain many in such a game have no idea what is going on.

This investigation isn't the be and end all of the corruption. It is the tip of the iceberg. These 380 games are only the one they have evidence of after closing in on one betting ring. Just the one. Get rid of all these silly notions that only 'dodgy' Eastern European clubs or Italian teams are involved.

What we have is proof that corruption goes up right up to the highest level of the game. Dubai hosting the world cup. Really?
