Well he's finally gone which is to be expected. How long before Phil Brown declares his interest like he has every other managers job. I like Phil Brown but bless, he cannot get a job anywhere, I'd love to see him back in Championship but feel he's gonna have to work his way there with a smaller club. Good luck Brownie anyway!!
Forest are a joke. They shouldn't have sacked O'Driscoll to replace him with McLeish anyway, that's suicide. Aren't they on their 6th Manager in 2/3 Seasons now?
"a difference in the understanding of the development strategy of the football club"?!?!?! he's only been there 5 weeks!! what did they talk about before he signed up?
Don't blame him for going, owners sound like an absolute nightmare. Blocking a transfer after terms and everything agreed, just because the player doesn't have 2020 vision, is absolutely ridiculous.
Their owners are obviously engaged in a bet with the Venky's to see who can cock up a football club the most.
After reading all the Florist fans wetting themselves with excitement about the new owners and how they'd walk the league, it is pretty funny... Plus I despise McLeish.
Michael Appleton to be the next Forest manager? He can't seem to stay anywhere for more than 5 minutes, and he won't have to at Forest!
Forest Managers since we returned to the Championship: Billy Davies (December 2008 - June 2011) Steve McClaren (June 2011 - October 2011) Rob Kelly (caretaker, October 2011) Steve Cotterill (October 2011 - July 2012) Sean O'Driscoll (July 2012 - December 2012) Alex McLeish (December 2012 - February 2013)
I think he'll be very careful for his next job, this whole business with McLeish will have made Forest a bad job for anyone. As a club I feel sorry for them, but these owners are seemingly right up there with the Venky's!
We dont want Billy Sharp on the stupid money that Forest and Saints are paying. Sharp is stuck in the ""Forest of Hell"" until the summer. Not even Robin Hood and his merry men can sort out the mess that is Nottingham Forest. So also says the leader of Europol. It appears that winner will win enough to buy Manchester Utd off the Glaziers. Not a chance in hell. After his experience with Cortese working for similar people will not be to Adkins liking. Since the Boyd fiasco McLeish walking has not been a case of IF but When. Next manager please but sadly for him Phil Brown wont stand a chance
Billy Davies is red hot favourite for the Florist job. Now is it just me, or is the picture of Billy on the BBC website one of him doing the Nescafe handshake? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21351739
The Forest managerial appointments are going steadily downhill, after the next two, Brownie might have a chance.
Billy Davies ? Interesting game on saturday. Sean O'Driscolls Bristol City v. Managerless Nottingham Forest. I bet S.O'D. cannot wait for this one.
