  2. Already the delusion is starting! I've been reading some of the Mouser comments on the BBC Live web page, and comments from media Mouser sympathizers. It's so very sad that they seem to believe that the Mousers can, somehow, someway, actually beat £ity.

    Meanwhile, in the real world...

In all seriousness, there can be little doubting that £ity will bring to a very firm and conclusive end 'Pool's mini revival of late. Having said that, I do expect 'Pool to give AFC a run, in the battle for "top of mid-table."

Great strike from Gerrard just when I was coming on here to say I thought they might nick it. Looks like you might have got this one wrong HIAG :D

That's why Aguero is better than Suarez, incase anyone's wondering.

  7. Have to give them some credit. They have put in a decent performance against Citeh to be fair. Probably did us a favour in the process.

  8. I'm more than happy with the draw. It puts 'Pool even further behind us, and we've gained 2 points on £ity.

I've got to say, though, that the Gooners will be breathing a sigh of relief that 'Pool didn't win. Had they won, I could easily see 'Pool stealing AFC's 6th spot, this season.

What's happened to Reina? He seems to have steadily regressed.

    ? In what way?

  12. He is symptomatic of 'Pool's spiral downwards. Used to be great, but not any more. Good on his day, but not the world-beater he used to be.

Reina's lost his confidence over the years, seeing the likes of Downing, Henderson etc. in mouse teams. He has just let himself go too.

  14. Took two points off a team above us. Not rocket science!

Liverpool have improved slightly as the season has gone on, but they have a fully fit squad to choose from and are luckily coming up against teams at the right time (£ity missing Toure and Kompany today for eg). Once a few injuries kick in and opposition teams dont stand around and watch (QPR game for eg), I fullly expect Lollerpool to remain around 7th or 8th in the table.

More comedy gold from delusion land as Slurridge has just denied that he dived today and isnt a player that dives. <doh> TV replays suggest otherwise..... Sewerez`s influence didnt take long to rub off.

Of course, but come on now, its not going to make a jot of difference to your season. It's unfortunate, but no matter how much people go on about the Premier League being competitive, its always a 2 horse race (those 2 teams have changed over time, but its just the 2 at the start of the season that has a realistic chance of winning it).

  18. We are a point less behind Citeh than they are behind United. Not a case of winning Leagues, but the closer we get to them and Citeh the more likely we are to cement a CL position.
And not many would have seen the Chavs having such a mediocre season. That would have made a 3-horse race in most people's eyes.

Suarez has scored from tighter angles with a gk actually in the goal. <whistle>

  20. But it was the way that Aguerro calmly took the ball around Reina as though he wasn't there, and then kept his head to slot home from an impossible angle, that made the goal world class, and not merely the kind of goal that Goofy would have scored.
