After Lasagne the media and Chelski winning the CL, what will it be the excuse for not doing enough this time round?

I hear the acoustics in the Spurs trophy cabinet are excellent.<ok>

How was Chelsea winning the CL an excuse? Spurs finished fourth and therefore expected to qualify. Noone can criticise their fans for complaing as every supporter of every club in the country would have done the same had they been in that situation.

Yea pretty much. Not gonna lie. We've been ****e for a few years now. Pleased with how we are now though. Young team, young manager, no big/ott spending on crap, playing good footie and look set to finish higher than last year, can't really expect/ask for more than that given where we were 2years ago with the financial and managerial state we were in.

Championship out of his depth manager that is still spending over the top, Allen, Slurridge, Borini, Coutinho (probably given time), thats £45m on 4 players that wouldnt get in the Spurs team. I dont understand your delight, going out of the cup to Oldham, still havent beaten a team in the top half of the table and seem to only beat teams that are having an off day. <doh>

'Pool is unlikely to be in that situation for another decade, at least, Dan.

I agree with Dan about the farce of Spurs finishing top 4 and not being entered into the CL and their fans rightly complaining, but that decision was made by the English FA and not Chelsea though.

And HIAG you could be right with your forecast about us but take a reality check, we reached two finals and won one before our fall from the top 4, but it's unlikely Spurs will ever reach a CL final let alone two and end up winning one during your forecasted decade without us qualifying, it just won't happen and deep down you know it.

4th position still requires qualification for the Champions League. Also, THFC could have had 3rd place and guaranteed qualification if Harry hadn't been going after the England job so much he ignored the massive end of season collapse.
