Swansea are the poor man's Arsenal who in turn were the poor man's Barcelona.

Swansea couldn't hit a coo's arse wi a banjo last night though and Sunderland were utterly dire. One man team and that man is Fletcher

It was ****e... Sunderland never had one shot on target last night... at home... against Swansea

7Based on that , Id say the current Celtic team would finish approx 16th to 10th

Add a 3 to 4 quality players in key posistions ...they'd finish 10th to 6th

The Burnley dude the other day was a prime example of the kind of ****** English football is riddled with. "The SPL is ****e, I've never seen it but feel fully competent to share my entirely invalid opinion on it"

At least it's mostly sectarian bams we have to deal with, different kind of ****** really.

These Norwich fans seem to forget they were plugging away in the doldrums of lower league football a few years ago and still have players from League 1 doing alright in the Premiership. Short memories.

just because the epl spends the most money in transfers doesnt make it the best league... bundesliga is far better and la liga is more entertaining!

the bottom half of that league is pure ****in ****.

It seems that not only does the money make the entire fabric of their game crass but that the fans of any club promoted to the EPL instantly become arrogant and blinkered.

The likes of Norwich & Southampton acting like big clubs. Unreal.

But it's a diddy league Venom ... who cares about champions/europa league!

If you beat Barcelona without Hooper then you wouldn't miss him now against Juventus. Anyway, you haven't answered my question - which English league do you think Celtic would play in?

The SPL is a diddy league. I know it, you know it, 99% of SPL fans know it.

But no matter what league Celtic play in; SPL or Champions. We're a big club.

Most of these English teams play in a big league but are and always shall be complete diddy teams

Okay, for the sake of argument: given that we qualified for the last 16 of the CL (something which evaded Man City and Chelsea) by beating the likes of Barcelona and home and away wins against Spartak Moscow I reckon we'd be comfortably middle of the EPL.

And that's with the miniscule resources we have available to us. I cannot (and I suspect no one can) predict what would happen if we were granted access to English football. As I said, it's a pretty pointless argument because there are too many unknown factors.

Outside Chelsea, Man City, Spurs, Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal, the EPL is full of diddy clubs.. Stoke, Norwich, Southampton, Wigan <doh>

I work out of Norwich quite a bit because of offshore.

Glasgow is a ****hole but it's better than Norwich.

Plus Hooper has played in the Championship already. Can't see why he'd want to go back there.

Less chance of inbreeding in Glasgow when comapred with Naaaaaawwwwwrrrrriiiiiichhhhhhhh

Aye, sometimes I see a pod of Norfolk locals swimming off the side of the platform when I'm working down there.

They sing an enchanting sea shanty and the offshore boys throw scraps of bacon rolls and the crumbs out of custard cream packets into the water and watch them feed.

Majestic.

And to watch them hunt is a real treat. They work as a team to confuse their prey with ****e stories about the Broads and Bernard Matthews basically using attrition and inbreeding to confound and consume. <ok>

Talking of big clubs <laugh> Aberdeen look set to sign under 21 keeper Dan Twardzik, brother of the twins
that play for celtic ----- Hope he doesn't feel the need to let in 9 just because his brothers play there. <whistle>

No sure about him JR (I'm going to imagine you as a big Texan **** from now on)

Surprised that C.Brown dropped J.Brown in the first place. He seemed better than Clangers from what I saw of him.

Dons on TV three times in a week as well, longest week of my life I bet.

Naw, more like a young Bobby Ewen with a girlfrind like ( Palm ).
Aye Jason Brown was def a better keeper than Langfield, should've been #1 after clangers mistake against celtic first
game of the season.

was about to say keep watching the Dandies but St Johnstone just scored. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Any rumours? Apparently we've turned down a 3rd bid for Hooper from Norwich.

EDIT: Apparently Norwich have made a 4th bid.
