Not a thing wrong sh - hope this young lad becomes a star in the near future and also does Ireland and his family proud in doing so. As for the DR's nonsense about Gary Hooper, I could be wrong but I don't believe he'll be going anywhere in this window and I'll be very disappointed if he does.

AC Milan are to sign Balotelli so we don't have to worry about him pulling on a shirt for the Old Lady.

What ails you now Stereo, Are you against Celtic signing a young Irish lad
Or are you for the D R trying to. Unnerve the Celtic fans . Or maybe you
Want to keep this forum for yourself and your cronies.

Villas Boas was in scotland for a coaching seminar, not to scout Hooper, as some of the Twits who claim to be ITK were chatting bullshit.

Grant Holt if Hooper goes <yikes>

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jan/28/grant-holt-quit-norwich-city

Holt tweets quite a bit about Celtic - I think he's one of those players that would love to play for Celtic to see his career out and get (what he thinks is) easy adulation.

I think this story might have more to do with Holt's agent than anyone at Celtic - really can't see us going for a striker that old or immobile

Hmmm, he doesn't fit in with our current signing policy but he would give us a good option up front in terms of experience as well as height and his ability to get stuck in about defenders.

However, as a direct replacement for Hooper it wouldn't be a good deal.

To all Celtic Fans: Hooper to NCFC is not yet a done deal but where would you place your team in the English league? Prem, Championship or League 1? You are walking away with SPL (as there's no Rangers) and your chances of beating Juventus are slim so why should Hooper stay?

To play in the last 16 of the Champions Lge ... something he'll never ever do with Norwich. He may leave but in the summer... not now.

In a competitive game, Celtic would beat Norwich .

    <laugh>

IF Celtic were to play Norwich in a competitive game it would be in the EPL or Championship... IF this was the situation, Celtic would be in a posistion to bring in better players than Norwich as Celtic are a bigger club...

Celtic were only behind Real Madrid and Manchester City in the number of players away on duty during the last round International games.

Leave them to their "Best League in the World" <laugh> bubble.

Pretty pointless argument. We are an SPL side with SPL finances so it's impossible to answer.

By the way, our chances of getting out of the CL group stages were considered slim by many, including those arrogant ****s at ITV, so we'll see what happens against Juventus.

ps We beat Barcelona without Hooper.

You'll never convince most of these clowns ST. They've got their EPL blinkers on.

Did you see Sunderland/Swansea last night? Utter tripe but it's the highest level a player can reach if you believe the mince forced upon us from the Nigels

Nah. I don't watch a lot of EPL football any more.

The likes of Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea are quality teams. No doubt about it. But most of the rest are average teams with over-paid and mediocre players.

Swansea are the poor man's Arsenal who in turn were the poor man's Barcelona.

Swansea couldn't hit a coo's arse wi a banjo last night though and Sunderland were utterly dire. One man team and that man is Fletcher <yikes>

7Based on that , Id say the current Celtic team would finish approx 16th to 10th

Add a 3 to 4 quality players in key posistions ...they'd finish 10th to 6th
