Saturday Feburuary 2nd,

Craven Cottage,

The reason why i've done this early because i won't be on that much, i'll do the matchday threads and that's it, onto the game, last season we won at craven cottage in previous seasons, we've found it difficult to get a win there but we played some of our best football away from home last season, ironically, Berbatov scored the 5th goal with a backheel, it was a typical goal from him, i hope we perform like we did against them last night on saturday.

Thanks, this will be a different Fulham to the one we faced last saturday, i would take 1-0 now.

You created this 3 days ago!?

**** me i don't think i noticed it.

I'm worried about this game now, after tonight's efforts. I can see us dropping points, as Fulham are a very good team at home:biggrin:

I was always more cautious of Southampton thanFulham when I saw these two fixtures. Southampton have caused far more upsets and problems for bigger clubs than Fulham have this season.

That said, no match in the Premiership is a given and we will need to play well as we would against anyone else.

Yep. Fulham is a good team at home. But I am cautiously optimistic. I predicted 1-0 for the Saints game because I knew we would probably subconsciously take our foot off the pedal.

We should be able to get a 1-2 again. With our strikeforce firing on all cylinders. Just hope if they are going to score they do so early. The last thing we want is being 1-0 down with 15-20 minutes to go. <ok>

Berbatov is doubtful with a hamstring injury, and Dembele, Dempsey and Murphy are not there anymore so really we have a better chance than last season but anything can happen.

Hey lads, canvassing opinion on the other end of the table on our "who's going down" thread if you fancy voting for the three you think will go down!

Seeing as Man Utd tend to hold a lot of peoples fates in their hands, due to whoever they drop points against stealing a march on the rest, your input is welcome!

well the good thing ... we will have some fresher players playing than those who played a couple of days ago
an advantage Fullham will not be having .. but sure Fullham away is a very difficult game ..
am happy Danny Murphy is not there any more, he always played very well against us .. i hate him

This is a good point.

I have always thought that United's performance (of most teams) in the last stages had a bearing on who goes down and who gets to stay up. There is no doubt in my mind that if United had not already won the title going into that last match at OT a few years ago, West Ham would not have won, Tevez or no Tevez and would have gone down. There have been a few more occasions when United lost or drew a dead rubber despite SAF 's protestations that United played to win.

This year United won't affect the relegation battle. However they could influence the CL and the Europa places. If the title is already in the bag in the last month, a few teams could benefit. United play Swansea and WBA in the last matches. They could benefit at the expense of the scousers <ok> we also play Chelsea and they could seal a CL place if Spurs or arsenal are in contention.

Lots of teams have an interest in United doing well <ok>

PS: I have a sneaky feeling that QPR will escape..just. Not just because of fabio and Park <whistle>

is not easy for players to give 100% when you already win the title and have a final to play in the coming week(s)
even if Sir Alex field best 11, the problem is still they will not give 100%
agree on QPR

ffc here, we are not as good at home as we were, like another poster said no dembele, demps etc, no sidwell. no berba to run round your defence, i can only see a 0-2 1-3 man utd win, hope sir alex enjoys the changing rooms lol

Having beaten Fulham so easily in the cup we'll probably lose to them in the league. Its a funny old game.

i know .. is always like that isn't? :emoticon-0101-sadsm
we need to win .. or City will smell the blood .. but a win and they can be less motivated facing Liverpool who can punish the
the game could be a changing moment in the title race
