Clearly enough fans in the ground tonight wanted Graham to know he wouldn't be the most welcome of signings! Interesting given the relatively moderate "if he signs he signs" feel on here. Obviously a few are passionately against it!

On a side note - if McClean had an ounce of footballing brain in his head he'd be dangerous.

Further side note - I like Colback and Gardner at fullbacks, both tidy footballers, good positional sense and don't mind a tackle

I've thought that Graham would sign for quite a while now. After that reception I'm not so sure now. That has to give him second thoughts!

Hard to miss wasn't it! Not just the boos when he came on. There was some other chuntering as well!

Absolutely pathetic reaction imo, some people need to grow up.

The most idolised man in our clubs history was from Newcastle for ****s sake man

Anyone think he missed on purpose. LOL. had plenty of time to get his shot away. Well done Bramble but it was your fault he had the space in the first place.

    Agreed.

Before someone pipes up with 'football was different back then' - that was still the last major trophy we won... Often people are quick to bring up the fact that Geordies can't work for our club, but similarly quick to bring up that we've won the league more than City, NUFC, etc etc...

He's not ours at present, so I don't see any problem with the booing.

if he was playing for us against the mags, then everyone would be saying he missed on purpose, it was an incredible chance, 93rd minute anarl, I do wonder if he did like

He doesn't play for us and is a Mag fan - what do you expect? If he expected anything different he'd be a bit naive.

If he signs I hope that changes, provided he does a job.

I'm not sure bob stokoe ever criticised Sunderland before coming to us?

That's the difference that needs to be considered.

I don't want him here, we are putting ourselves up to be disappointed. Plus I just dont think he's a great footballer and certainly not worth £5m

I am almost certain growing up as a young man Stokoe would have slagged us off

All Graham said was that he wouldn't support us, who cares?

By the same token, he's not our player so who cares if he gets stick for supporting Newcastle?

I wouldn't normally but what annoys me is the fans wouldn't boo him if we weren't interested in him, he got abuse because MoN wants to sign him... what type of message does that send?

All those who booed Graham onto the pitch and our own players off are, quite simply, thick as pig ****! No two ways about it and I was embarrassed to be wearing the same colours as them tonight. They clearly aren't proper supporters and have probably cost us a decent player and shown the club up on TV to boot. Ever heard of the phrase cutting your nose off to spire your face?
I'm ashamed of their behaviour tonight. I always wanted to sit in the South stand and revel in the atmosphere. Tonight I couldn't get far enough away from the ******s.
    Shame on you all.
