It's a fantastic name. If they make it, it would be a nice addition to the grid. Scorpion racing, reminds me of Spyker.
Well done fishing this out BTW.

I'm sorry if this is a bit of an insult (but entirely directed at the corporate lot), but what the hell is it with these Canadians/Americans naming every damn team with an animal? Eagles, Tigers, Bulls, Scorpions...

Sounds like they just came back from a bloody Lion King convention...

Don't give 'em ideas, next it'll be Simba :emoticon-0119-puke:

Nice idea, but running an updated F112 is an awful plan. Sometimes they struggled to make 107% last season, so this season it'd be even worse, sponsors wouldn't like their car never making the race! A better plan would probably be to ignore 2013, buy the assets and start work on the 2014 car.

So it looks like there might be a sting in the tail of the HRT saga ...

Anyway this would be an incredible turnaround if they were to race in 2013, can't see it happening this year though, even if Bernie is supportive - which apparently he is.

On a serious note, it wouldn't make any business sense to run the Wheelbarrow (F112) this season, may as well wait for the new regulations next year, when it's a level playing field again.

They should have let the arms dealers enter. It would have been awesome.

They could be really pioneering and creatively use a Surname to name the team.
