Maybe they know that some of our fans will start throwing their toys out of the pram if he doesn't come and blame it all on Wenger / The Board / The physios / Kit Man / Tea Lady / Weather etc ?
Looks like transfer talk is almost dead for us. This David Villa thing is just pie in the sky at the moment. Not forgetting David Bleeding Beckham training at Arsenal. Who gives a flying toss.
If we dont manage to sign anyone of decent quality who will YOU blame ? No one ? A lot is made about the " whingers " on this forum but theres a whole lot of people who seem to blame everything on NO ONE at all ever . NO one is to blame for all our failures. The world must be against us for sure for al this " jolly bad luck " PS i wont care if he sign Villa or not. I dont think its relevant who he signs. We have signed great players in the past who have withered on the vine at Arsenal. We have some great players now. So whats wrong with this picture ? Whats the common denominator in all our efforts over the past 8 years ? Not the players , they have come and gone. Only one thing remains constant . But he is totally blameless it seems. Beyond reproach due to his reputation .
Her budget couldn't stretch to Rich Teas and she couldn't find the right ones anyway. It's much harder than you think to get the right quality of rich teas in January.
" I have seen rich teas....they are great biscuits but if you ask me , do i want to buy some rich teas ... I say no "
AZ Alkmaar coach Gertjan Verbeek admits Adam Maher would be 'perfect' for Arsenal, but is reluctant to sell. The Gunners are among those said to be keen on the highly-rated 19-year-old midfielder. Manchester City have also been linked with the talented playmaker, with the youngster having made rapid progress this season. Alkmaar are aware that a deal is likely to be done sooner rather than later, with it difficult for Dutch clubs to keep prized assets out of the clutches of a rival once their promise is noted. Verbeek is hoping Maher will see out the season in the Eredivise, but concedes that he would prefer to do business with Arsenal if a transfer is to be pushed through. He told Studio Voetbal: "I think Arsenal is a perfect club for him. With Arsene Wenger, who worked with young talents like him before. "He can get the most out of himself at Arsenal. Look at Robin van Persie, he joined Arsenal at a young age and look what he achieved."
This is exactly the problem, we shouldn't be trying to bring in Rich Tea's when what we really need are triple coated chocolate hob nobs
The magic man touches on a piece in the metro. Interestingly it states that we have put a bid in for Diego Rolan "French sources" now http://metro.co.uk/2013/01/28/az-alkmaar-boss-urges-star-midfielder-adam-maher-to-join-arsenal-3369753/
Emmanuel Frimpong is in line to make his Fulham debut in Wednesday's Premier League match against West Ham. The 21-year-old joined on loan from Arsenal on Friday and could now face the Hammers, while fellow midfielder Simon Davies is back in training after a sustained period on the sidelines. Good news i think. He desperately needs game time and going out on loan to Fulham will give us an indication to where is development is.
AW was a jammy dodger last year. I think now that word is out on him, we will struggle to sign young lads in future unless they like a chocolate finger....
