For those wanting a summary of Algeria v Tunisia it's gone something like this:
Pass, pass, pass, foul, roll, feigned agony. Free-kick, pass, pass, foul, roll, feigned agony. Repeat.
    Dire.

Think its fair to say the main elements of what we both say is pretty accurate, thing is I don't see a solution, I don't want him anywhere near the lone role in this form. Saying he needs games is probably next, but you cannot waste a first team berth experimenting and waiting for form, not right now anyway. Is it me or has JD's quiet spell coincided with Ade's return? timings can't be far out. I agree you may aswell separate them, JD plays his own game whether he's got a partner or not, but neither are in great form individually, so with no other choice, it would seem the theory is to put both on and hope one does something. I still think we need a change to freshen it up.

Had to laugh at AVB over the weekend I think it was, asked about Ade at the Acon, he said "he won't be long, he'll only be missing a couple of games" a loose reference to how crap Togo are and won't get out the group! :)

  4. A goal for Ade in the ACN - hopefully a spark for his confidence - took it pretty well.

I wish he'd score goals like that for us and yes I hope it does give him confidence.

Togo's goal is broken! <laugh> The frame looks screwed to me, but they're claiming it's the net.

It says that the ref is innumerate. There was a delay of about that long, but there was less than 5 mins left in the 90 when the goal broke so he can only justify playing 13 mins if he was already going to play 8 minutes! Has he has just timed the delay and added that on which is a nonsense - if it had taken them an hour to fix the goal would he have added an hour?

  11. Togo win 2-0 and a draw against Tunisia in their last match and they go through - and we lose Ade for a while longer :emoticon-0120-doh:

Good to see him scoring again lets think of it as an investment more time in africa ,more game time, more goals ,more confidence, when he comes back and goes on a run of goalscoring for us everybody wins (eternal optimism !!)

If we win our matches without him then he might struggle to regain his place in the team.

  19. Ade still missing chances for Togo today but has set up the Togo opener today. As I write Tunisia have just equalised from the spot.

i think he needs to concentrate more on his goal scoring than the obvious hours he spends practicing his celebrations.
