and injury prone, i've seen a lot of city fans having a go at us for signing Zaha, this coming from a club who signed Robinho who thought he was joining us .
I heard the guys on Talk Sport claiming he can be as good as Ronaldo. I'm not disputing the kids talent, but comparisons with Ronaldo are somewhat ridiculous. Ronaldo was a one off, Messi aside he is probably the best player in the last 20 years of football, and as far as I'm concerned the most talented player we've ever had. So I doubt he'll ever get anywhere close to Ronaldo's level, but I'm sure he will prove a good player for us in the end
This To compare a young albeit promising talent to one of the two outstanding players of the modern era is just setting up for failure. Ridiculous and potentially damaging.

fuking hell christian, i only wanted to do a thread updating his progress at crystal palace, and i'm giving him a chance, he's got my full support.
Bloody hell. He's a promising young player not Messi. I don't think he deserves his own dedicated thread. The way people are talking about Zaha you'd think he was the messiah. Seriously wise up.
And the winner is....Coutinho. Great bit of business... Always rated the lad... Inter fans are furious to see him go... The missing link... Turning a corner... Next year is our year...!
Thing is, Zaha has played in english football long enough, whereas Coutinho might take longer to settle at Liverpool.
That doesn't matter. How long did it take Mata, Hazard, Suarez etc to settle? They all basically hit the ground running.
