As you may have heard, we have just become the first premier League side to be beaten by a non - league side.
Having watched the game albeit via a stream, we were bloody awful. Worse than we were aginst you, worse than against Liverpool. I have honestly seen sunday league sides play better than us today. Not taking anything from luton. They deserved their win.
Right thats the painful crap out of the way....

Chris Hughton.
I would say 99% of Norwich fans were delighted with his appointment, myslef included.
We had seen what he had done with you, and how he was shabbily treated.
We had seen what he had done at Birmingham on a shoestring.

When he was with you, did he have a plan B?
Was he able to switch styles?

During our 10 game unbeaten streak, he was being haioled as a genius, now some are calling for his head. I am not in this camp.

The last 3 games for us have been plain bloody awful. Some of you went to Carrow Road, some of you saw the game via a stream. You saw how bad both teams were. Now imagine us being something like 5 times as bad. That was us today.

Simple question really.

Is CH capable of turning things around or will he stick to his guns and try what he was doing when we went on our unbeaten streak?

Look forward to your replies.

Sorry Maestro, can't believe you, it would be impossible to be worse than we played against you, never mind five times worse.

CH is a good guy who was very popular with the fans and was doing well enough here when he got the bullet, I'd like to think he could turn it round for you.

I'm sure most of us would swap Pards for him if you wanted.

Chris will turn it around. The fact is a lot of the players from teams who are struggling are simply not bothered about the cups, regardless of what their managers say.

Not sure about his tactical skills of adopting a plan B or plan C, but I've no doubt that he will have the players on his side wanting to win for him. He is a true pro and I'm sure he'll do well for you. <ok>

I have a lot of time for CH. He is a consummate professional. Every now and then people have a spell of bad luck, I wouldn't judge him by this one result.

It looks like there a quite a few clubs not interested in going for a cup. We went to Brighton to get beat. Norwich might have cared about a cup as much as we did. It is hardly respectful towards the fans mind.

He seems a 'gent' AB, but I would like to know how he will turn it around. Is he capable of switiching tactics?
Normally, for me anyway, he leaves his substitutions far too late to make much of a difference.

The fringe players we had playing today had the perfecr chance to push their claims for a regular first team place. They failed miserably.
It looked as if they had no idea of what they were supposed to be doing.
Is that down to the manager having only one plan, or the players being lazy?

I agree with your opening statement, but it's not about this one result.
Our performances for the last few games have been truly awful.
Ask your fellow Toon army members how bad we were when you played us a couple of weeks ago.
Our performance then was not that of a team that were supposedly 2nd only to Barcelona in Europe for an unbeaten run.

Can you say why you think this Obi? or is it a gut feeling?

Because for 'most' of his time in charge with us he did stick with a formula. That said, for most of his time with us, it was a winning formula, so why change?

Should still be with us, he did nothing wrong.

Aye, that was a bad day. Disgraceful decision to sack him after all he had done. I wonder how last season / this season would have gone with Chrissy still in charge.
