Obviously the one thing that it could mean was my internet mucking up. It's now working for me.
As long as Coutinho prefers Liverpool (i.e. indefinitely), this will not happen for us - if ever - until final day/hour/minute/second of the window.
To be honest, do we want Coutinho, if he wants to play for a 'big club', he more than likely just assumes as he knows of their stature that they pay good money!
That's a pretty huge assumption. More likely, he wants to play for a team that he perceives as having a greater chance to compete for things...and that's where the DVD comes in.

Firmino was the player mentioned earlier in this thread. Someone I never heard of tweeted that German newspapers were reporting we'd signed him or something. I guess DTLW looked into it and couldn't find it mentioned and came back and said it was a wind up.
I hadn't gone back far enough, I don't expect any action, if at all, until everyone is back in the UK.
It will be worth the wait if you like big-time transfers. I think Astori is ours if Cortese still wants him. No one will match our bid and Cagliari need to sell. I think it is quite possible we bring in at least two, and it could very well be both Astori and Coutinho. Or at least two players on the same level/reputation.
