If we start to play well and get results, and we coup another few French players, maybe Cabaye and Hatem will both be happy to stay for another season at least They're surrounded by players that speak their own language, and all these injuries they've had will hopefully keep them humble. HBA says If Newcastle don't show ambition, he's going. Which is a good sign, IMO. It shows he's playing for the right reasons now. Cabaye owes us another season for being inconsistent as ****.
The only players i could see leaving us (that I'd care about) in the summer would be Tiote and HBA. Krul and Santon keep saying they are happy here, nobody should want Cisse at this rate, Cabaye has just got his best mate in and the rest of the players have signed within the last year. Like you say though having so many French players here should keep them happy as it'll be like a home away from France for them
I wont care if Tiote goes as long as we get Sissokho. Tiote is awesome, but too inconsistent and if we can get 10m then that's good enough.
Agree here. If we sold Tiote for £10m+ and replaced him with Sossoko for, say £2m (contract up in the summer) we would make £8m profit which, coupled with the Demba sale means we've funded the other acquisitions... canny business.
Think there is a good chance that we will see better form from Tiote if he has a genuine challenger for his starting position.
You're all mad... Tiote isn't going anywhere, stop peddling these lies Midfield potential- --------------Tiote--------- ------Cabaye------Sissokho -Ben Arfa----------------Marv With options of Anita, Bigi and Perch we're set! Quite frankly, if they were all up to their standard, I'd put my appendage on the line by saying that'd be the best mdifield in the league. BOOM.
i think the signing of debuchy indicates cabaye's hanging around a bit longer. i'm not sure he would've been so keen to come if his bezzie marra was just going to **** off after 6 months.
You talk utter trash tash! no offence but why not post an article about something that is actually current and not ponderous as to what the future holds? none of us can see into the future so what's the point? this isn't play your cards right mate.
It's great that we've signed new players - hopefully they are of sufficient quality to oust the deadwood residing in our squad. I just hope it's not leaving it all too late... if we'd signed these players last summer, then I don't consider we'd be where we are now. It's about time the purse strings were released for once!
