    Nicola has gone out on a limb and got a higher profile manager in...he wouldn't have come without some promises. I suspect we have money and NC intends to back Poch to ensure a decent position this season.

    I agree. I think we have the money, but even if we don't attracting the big money guys had to have been a major consideration for NC in changing managers, maybe the primary consideration. So we're going to spend, at least in the short term.

    I'm actually more excited to see what happens at the youth level. We know that's a priority for Cortese and Pochettino appears to share that philosophy. Saints and the big clubs are already on equal footing as far as that goes. And you would think that someone shrewd (or at least he thinks he is) like Cortese would see the whole EPPP thing as a potentially huge advantage for the team that figures out how to work it first.

    I thought we would be snagging some players from the smaller clubs already, and I am hoping the next academy class will have players from all over the world including some 13 year old youtube sensation or something.
