What you said is there in black and white, you said on numerous occasions that you "Don't know" why Lennon was attacked and then said you would be a fool to deny that sectarian motives may be involved?

Edge made a "contradictory" statement by saying that he "Did not know" why Lennon was targetted. He then went on to say that "I'm not denying that some people hate him for being an RC NI Republican, that would be silly of me".
So he does "not know why" but he then went on to explain one of the reasons was religion?

So Edge did not say "He did'nt know" if Lennon was being targetted because of his religion?
