I'm going to see Roger waters- the wall tomorrow night at the O2, can't wait and really looking forward to seeing comfortably numb, the greatest song of all time.
I've just heard that Dave Gilmour joined him on stage last night, I will be severely f@&£ed off if he is not there tomorrow night.
What's everyone favourite live performance you have seen ?

For me it may be a surprise but it was Chris Rea at Whitley Bay Ice Rink, many years ago now. The night was just spot on from start to finish

Massive Attack, main stage at Creamfields.

May not be to you old boys taste, but the sound and light and 10,000 crowd made for something incredible.

I still tingle a bit just thinking about it, fantastic.

pretty sure my parents went to see that, cant remember the year but they said it was great.

mine is U2 at roundhay park, leeds twice, i have gone off them big style now as they are just too poppy for my tastes, but their old music and especially their live shows are excelent.

I also went to the reading festival a few years back, but i spent most of my time getting drunk and stoned and cant remember much of it lol but from what i can remember it was great.

I saw RW at Wembley Arena a few years back and he was brilliant. Miserable bugger, but he puts on a good show. The highlight was definitely Comfortably Numb with Snowy White and Andy Fairweather-Low on twin lead guitars for the solo(s) at the end. If Gilmour is there it will be some gig!

p.s. see you live in Haywards Heath. My lad's at school down there at Chailey Heritage.

BTW - fave all time gig has to be Ozzy Osbourne at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1980, closely followed by Judas Priest & the original line-up of Iron Maiden at the Deeside Leisure Centre in 1979 or 1980 (can't remember).

Well my dad is 59 so not that old, my mam would be 59 as well if she was still with us. when i was <20 i thought 40 was ancient, but when you get close to 40 (39 now) then 60 seems young lol
