No bets for me today.... rubbish racing... I dont think Doncaster or Cheltenham will be on on the Saturday. Snow is forecast and its too cold and will last to Friday night. Cheltenham on the Sunday would be great... lets hope they do put it on and Channel 4 do the decent thing along with their multiple (over the top) advert breaks!

Captain, im with you on the no show for the weekend unfortunately... But as posted earlier it should be moved to Sunday if conditions dictate as there isnt much sport going on this sunday anywhere else... The FA cup matches arnt exactly big clashes now are they, so they wont lose many people on viewing figures...

They know it makes good sense...<ok>

The fav should win here but lost at odds on before and has plenty of weight to lug about. If i was betting i'd be on Hazza.

Hopefully Cheltenham avoids the predicted snow tonight and we get some mild temperatures.

If they can rearrange it for Sunday, surely common sense must prevail. They have to let these good horses get a run so if the track is safe for racing on Sunday, lets race on Sunday.

Doncaster has got a tough forecast. You may see Peddlers Cross over 3m in the Cleeve as his reappearance.

I'd say you're fairly unlucky there Ardent. That was either the worst ride i've seen all season or the most blatant case of fiddling i've seen all season. Take your pick.

I have never been so disgusted with Racing as I have been in the last two days, the amount of blatant non triers being layed to kingdom come on betfair over the last two days of all weather racing is an absolute disgrace.

Faffa, just the latest and most picked up on.

game is bent to the core

Wolverhampton is a fiddlers track MOG, ****ing hate it. Jockeys have that tight bend as their perfect excuse. Joe Fanning was at it the other day, he's a ****er

Kempton is the best AW track as its long straight tends to even things out and you can see a non trier at Kempton.

I will try to find the vid in a sec, sure it was on a Dean Ivory horse. The horse was so well in himself Fanning physically pulled him back on the bend to stop his progress and then never once used the whip.

The Stewards held an enquiry into the running and riding of FAFFA, ridden by Adam Carter and trained by Tim Easterby, which was tenderly handled over the final two furlongs before running on to finish third beaten 2¼ lengths.

They interviewed the rider and the trainer’s representative. They also received a report from the Veterinary Officer. The rider stated his instructions were to drop in, to get the gelding to settle as he had run keenly over five furlongs in his previous race. He added that having taken a pull on leaving the stalls FAFFA was initially outpaced and then tended to run in snatches.

He went on to say that whilst he was happy with his position round the final bend, he had been wasting heavily at short notice and after feeling weak in the straight was consequently unable to ride more vigorously and go for his whip. The trainer’s representative confirmed the instructions and conceded that he could have ridden a stronger finish. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race the Stewards found the rider in breach of Rule (B)59.4 and guilty of failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible placing.

They suspended him for 10 days as follows: Tuesday 5, Wednesday 6, Thursday 7, Friday 8, Saturday 9, Sunday 10, Monday 11, Tuesday 12, Wednesday 13, Thursday 14 February 2013.

10 days, nothing for trainer and owner who obviously gave him the instructions? what a ****ing joke

the accounts that layed that horse big should be named and shamed, the jockey, trainer and owner should be warned off.

I didnt back it, but I backed Hazza The Jazza earlier who got layed from 11/8 out to 11/4, and was half fit, never mind missing one piece of work, known slow starter but to me the jockey didnt appear to be trying very hard to combat that.

Plenty of people would have backed Faffa at 7/4 last night or this morning and they have lost their money without a fair run and nothing is being done, it will continue to happen day in day out.

I know it's difficult sometimes but I fail to understand why any sane and rational person would bet on such rubbish as all-weather flat racing. If Cheltenham / Royal Ascot is the 3-star Michelin Restaurant, then surely Class 7 handicaps at the likes at Wolverhampton is a packet of hedgehog flavoured Monster Munch. Gambling (and by extension horse racing) is a supply and demand sport. If everyone stopped betting on the all-weather ****e it would soon disappear because there would be no turnover, the bookies would lose interest and the whole thing would collapse.

I think I'll start a new Not 606 Campaign - "**** The All Weather". No compromise, no slacking. Get this ****ing bollocks off the ****ing racing map. Obliterate it. It's worse than ****ing Strictly Come Dancing, the Europa League ("oh great it's Metalist Kharkov against FC Cluj tonight"). Come on lads and lasses, just ****ing ignore this dross. Don't bet on it, it's all ****ing bent anyway.

**** The All Weather !!!! Yes. Mutha ****ah !!!
