HDM says that now we've missed out on FC because of the wages, we will now go after DJ Campbell but are worried incase he prefers to stay in the South-East

30,000 a week is a lot of money to pay someone who has only had one good spell in his career, hasnt done crap in the PL, and has had 2 knee surgeries. Unless he all of a sudden improves I cant see Cardiff doing anything other than sitting him on the bench in the PL just like Sunderland did.

If Campbell comes to the KC with Cardiff he'll get a round of applause from me. Helped us get promoted but never said he'd be coming back. It's not like he agreed a contract and then reneged on it, he's never been our player and is free to go where he wants.

I agree. Joining Sunderland was the best choice for him. They would have been offering him more and had more chance of staying up.

I beg to differ, the main thing for him at that age was to get himself in the shop window, and with us he'd have been first name on the sheet playing in his favoured way. At sunlan he was competing with a lot of players and was mainly played out of position on the right wing.

The fact that he didn't have a good spell at Sunderland shows he chose the wrong option footballing wise IMO, and with duffman in charge I'm sure we'd have offered him just as much.

He did well at Sunderland for 13 months, playing 36 times in his first season. Granted he wasn't exactly prolific. It was only when he got injured that he lost his place.

Maybe we are not thinking outside the box. I saw the goal that Jakupovic scored and it was pretty impressive. Maybe moving Jakupovic out of the goal into a strikers position will solve both of our problems!?

And we are getting excited about Proschwitz scoring two goals in two games against a mid-table League 1 team. I suppose on the principle of anybody but Simpson!
