I would only ever make the tea once. After that he would never ask me again. My awful tea making skills are legendary.

Dont know if this has been posted

Southampton are interested in Lazio forward Mauro Zarate, according to reports in Italy.

The Saints have been hit with an ongoing knee injury to playmaker and captain Adam Lallana, with a return date yet to be confirmed, resulting in links with a move for the Serie A star.

Zarate, who spent half a season at Birmingham during the 2008-09 season, has fallen well down the pecking order at Lazio; making just one league appearance and failing to get off the bench on a disappointing nine occasions.

Southampton manager Nigel Adkins has proven himself in the transfer market with astute moves for Gaston Ramirez and Maya Yoshida, since his side's return to the Premier League.

And he will be backed in the January transfer window after lifting his side out of the relegation zone and up to their current spot in 15th.

Corriere dello Sport claims Southampton have joined a number of teams tracking Zarate's situation after his agent recently revealed he is seeking to leave the Stadio Olimpico

Zarate would be some signing, though perhaps a bit similar to Ramirez? I would expect he'd have plenty of other suitors though.

Football is just business, he knows enough about that to see him through.

Zarate has a lot of bad press in Italy for having a ego, with Lazio fans wanting him to leave etc. He says he is to good for Lazio and has a dick of a agent, so no thanx I don't want a player like that.

He's only played 7 games this season(6 in Euro) scoring one, Lazio value him at only 5 mil. Zarate being valued at 5 mil must tell people something. <laugh>

Oh that's a shame, I remember a year or two ago he was being talked about in the same breath as Messi, I guess he's not really realised that potential!

And he did a fascist salute at a game a few years ago, rapidly dropping down my shortlist!

Amusingly he later claimed he didn't know the significance of the gesture, or who Hitler or Mussolini were. Ok then!

Buy out clauses mean nothing when the player is a complete cock.

It's okay...Adkin's will use the "hug it out" technique to relieve him of years of pent up aggression. I've heard Puncheon was put in a pit of care bears for 2 weeks to give us the placid player we see today!
