I don't understand why so many are saying its a massive shock to see someone turn down Newcastle for QPR in these circumstances?

Hi Fran,

Didn't 'arry once sign all of these players and make them into a successful team, Redknap, Quasie, Camara, Davidson and Bernard. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Either team he joins are going to be in a relegation battle.

QPR have some talented names in their squad, which may attract a player. They have a more well known manager, are based in London and the owners have been and continue to splash the cash, which should indicate some ambition.

The only real strong case for Newcastle I can see is that they have a fair few French speaking players and he is supposedly good mates with Ben Arfa.

That was one rumour, most people are saying 75k to 80k.

Not sure whether to be shocked or not.

Don't want to bang on about QPR, but what happens if they stay up? They'll have 30 players, almost all of them are unsellable, and Arry will want to buy 10 more. Nothing changes.

QPR are trying to off load players as well, but if they don't, they will have a big wage bill and unhappy players.

Will there be any news about Forren now...surely signings are announced in daylight hours (apart from last day of season).

Yes, he did well at Spurs, with a really very talented group of players, much as AVB is doing now. Remember, he would have loaned/sold Bale to Nottingham Forest had their not been a timely injury or two whilst also just not really playing a proven goalscorer like Defoe.

Genuinely the most overrated twerp of a manager.

I know some teams are richer than others and pay more for players, but it has to bear some relationship with income. QPR haven't the income or the ability to attract massive sponsorship. This is like the immorality of what happened at Portsmouth and it is no coincidence that the same manager is involved. The fans are suspecting its success or bankruptcy.
