Legend.

"I suppose it has become a trend United players moving on to Hull recently" - Long may it continue, I'm more than happy to keep mopping up those that don't quite make the grade at Old Trafford. Weren't David Brown and Jamie Wood also on United's books as youngsters? How times have changed...

As has been said a couple of times now (me being one) "it's nice having Man.U as our feeder club"! What other teams would do for that???

Yes David brown and Jamie wood were signed from man utd but my favourite warren Joyce man utd signing was the keeper nick culkin on loan think he only conceded 1 in about 6/7 games for us you could tell he'd learn from Peter schmeichel he was immense although I don't think his career ever took off.

He went to QPR, but as a No.2 and only played 22 league games in three seasons, he's now playing non-league for Radcliffe Borough.

It was indeed wiki-ing, to be be honest, I can't remember him at all.

Culkin is the one who as well as having obviously learnt from him also looked like Schmeichel.

I think he had an injury which meant he had to retire from the professional game (which would explain being at Radcliffe) but that might have been their other loanee keeper we had (Gibson).

You are correct, more wiki-ing has confirmed that he retired from the professional game due to a long standing knee injury.

And he did have a slight look of Schmeichel about him.

He holds the record for the Man United player with the shortest ever appearance. In seven years at United, he managed to get off the bench just once and he was only on the pitch for eighty seconds.

It looks like Warren Joyce may still help us further, Pearson said yesterday - "I would like to take one more possibly on a season-long loan, there's a couple of special ones but whether we get them or not is another thing."
