*sigh* For once I got to watch the game.

It looked like fielding a ball was foreign to him. Really. It looked like he had NO idea how to catch a ball.

I watched the game but could not hear the commentary. What was his injury and does anyone know how he is?

Probably a mild concussion I would guess. I didn't see any blood so anything like a broken nose or a loose tooth is probably not likely.

Cleans sheets previously or not his goalkeeping style is completely unorthodox, in previous games he has been fortunate and has got away with it, tonight, or last night now, he got totally found out.

When I say that Gulacsi's performance at Elland Road was far superior to Jakupovic's tonight that should really tell you how bad it really was! The second goal he conceded should definitely have stood, the only possible explanation for it being disallowed is that the referee couldn't believe that he'd bottled it and that, instead, had been fouled, the third that he conceded, yes he DID concede three, from the corner was ****ing pathetic, never have I seen such poor goalkeeping, not even in Sunday league games, no wonder SB and previous managers have been hesitant about him.

Anyway Jakupovic is toast, there is no way back from that performance, just as there wasn't for Gulacsi after Leeds, he's gone!

Huge overreactions here.

He was utter ****e, I agree, but the first goal was offside and he wasn't even on the pitch for the third, so how he takes the blame for that one I don't know.

I still agree that we desperately need a keeper and that he's nowhere near good enough but Christ, give the lad a break.

Don't all teams have one match a season where certain players look not good enough even for a Sunday league side, and the performance can't be explained - so let's hope that was what happened yesterday and we can bounce back with 3 points in the next game.

In terms of the keeper position - I think Bruce will have more confidence to go to the Allams and ask for the money (transfer fee and wages) for a very good first choice keeper.

So it's all the keeper's fault?

Everyone else played a blinder?

No. Thought not.

Totally agree with the above. The only one that could be said to of earned his money was Brady, and yes I do include the highly rated Chester and Hobbs. The whole team did not play well and did not give Wednesday the respect they deserved and they got rightly trounced.

Two goals were his fault yes. Not saying anyone else was great but two were his fault and we only scored once. So, yes, it was on the whole the keepers fault

A keeper is only as good as his defenders and all three of them where total **** in this game. We are supposed to have one of the tightest defences in the league, you would not of thought it after seeing their performance in this match.

Seriously? So put Jakupovic behind Barcelona's defence and he becomes the best in the world ? Can't understand that. The poor defending had nothing to do with him chucking a straightforward catch into his own net.

Yes in the ground that makes sense. But on a messageboard people are going to speak their mind and after we lose and play like that people will complain. Anyone not expecting to see that and complaining when they do see it is ****ing out of touch.

Complaining is one thing, character assassination and ridicule is summat else entirely.

The Jak had a nightmare, but every other game he was been excellent and the fact we've kept so many clean sheets recently has a lot to do with him, he's made some great saves. However, you could argue that Koren was also at fault for their disallowed goal as he was just pushed away and let the lad get in. Why is Jak the only one who is coming under stick tonight. Quinn made a horrid mistake for their 3rd and I don't see anyone calling for his head!

There's some **** written on here. Jako had no chance with the first. A free header from 3 yards. Whole defence at fault for that.

Made two balls ups, one for the disallowed goal. One for the one that stood. Took a terrible ****ing bang, yet people are calling him a coward it was a ****ing dreadful knock.

He made two awful mistakes today, but when you watch it back look at how many saves he made.

The bottle less ****s were all in front of him today. Cowards most of them.

Spot on chazz. Can't understand jak being blamed for.the first - free header from a couple.of.yards out. If he'd saved it it would have been a miraculous reaction save.

Aggers has got it spot on here with his comments.

This over reaction by some ****s on here last night and today is pathetic.

My opinion - I was at the game - and others who watched on tv were the same - it was injured pride he suffered from.

Well if there's nowt wrong with him he'll be playing in the FA Cup match & Peterborough then.

Good luck to him and i hope he redeems himself.

We can't just keep on recycling keepers when they make mistakes.

gotta say my anger was aimed at the keeper and especially for what i thought was faking injury - IMO his bottle went after he conceded his second and when a keepers bottle goes thats it .

Only a few days ago i was speculating the good work Bruce & co had maybe done to the keepers mental state . .

Keepers make mistakes the world over and are forgivable , but not getting back on the horse after his own mistakes is unforgettable.
