agreed up the wombles and down with that plastic club mk,theres only one team in bucks and thats the wobblers<magic>

Hadn't twigged you were neighbours there Rocky. That's nice for you.

You'll be glad to know that Oxford fans were cheering news of your goals on Saturday, which suggests that the pecking order of hate for fans is first, the team you're playing now and, second, your local rivals.

Hmmm, can't imagine I'd ever cheer news of Port Vale's promotion winning goals ..... even if we were playing Wigglesworth and it meant you wouldn't be promoted!

imagine the scenario - playing Walsall in a match in which we were losing but Walsall increasing their goal difference caused Port Vale to be relegated. I think there'd be some cheers.

Aren't Colchester miles away from you?
yeh about 80 odd miles but they are still scum.dont you remember col u mike coming on youre site a couple of weeks ago hoping you went up instead of us .its a long standing rivalry going back to our conference days when trouble flared up at our old ground when we beat them in the f a cup their fans started trouble and got a good hiding and there has been clashes ever since.

Back to the case in point. We lose out on automatic promotion to one bogey team. Then we move on to another in the play-off semis. Why didn't Torquay appeal against their one point deduction and then we would be playing Stevenage?

I must identify myself as the 606 veteran newmeadowman, then evenewermeadowman.
I must say in reply to the comment about Jake Robinson I find it absolutely staggering that we cannot find a way of stopping him from playing against us. It is simply not fair on him - what if he misses an open goal against us or a penalty in a penalty shoot-out or (even worse) scores the winner agianst us. He will simply be accused or hated by one set of fans or the other. Surely the sesnsible thing to do is to let him sit out these games and then he can be available at Old Traffford for the winning team without any bad feelings because as far as I know he is a decent lad and he deserves better than this.

Hi Greenhousemeadow man, welcome on board. Don't worry about Robbo as AJ has got out his old national service balaclava and is shinning up his drain pipe with a plate of reheated shrimps that have been in the sun for a couple of days.

We made a mistake with Robinson, we learned the lesson and didn't let Leslie play against us and, as far as I'm concerned, Robinson isn't our player any more, whatever the technicalities.

I'd prefer him not to play but, if he scores the winner, it won't hurt for me any more than if any other Gull scores it. Too much focus on Robinson makes us sound like we're getting our excuses in early. If we're good enough, we'll win. If not, so be it. Robinson played well in the 5-0 by all accounts, but he wasn't a five goal difference. That's what we need to focus on.
