I once met a guy who was Dave around mates, David around women. Makes sense.

 

I believe he's married, but he obviously hasn't brought her with him. Men can drop something or finish a beer and just write it off and ignore it. Good thing women don't do this otherwise we'd all drown in empty bottles.

The name 'Dave' is friendly sounding but not sexy. No coincidence that Beckham was never called Dave...would lose all credibility as an underwear model.

I can pronounce his name OK as he has been here so long now, but i always seem to bugger up the spelling.

 

I'm glad we're not going for the Anton Ferdinands or the SWPs. There's not really a lot of sense in it for a team aspiring for something better than survival. Bloke from Italy aint going to be less committed than a less talented bloke from Sunderland if we buy wisely. Best to just stick to what we're doing.
