No, Kevin, the Prince. Bizarre how 2/3 years later he is one of AC Milan's best players! <doh>! Not sure many would have seen that one coming.

I think that he's another one to file with Taarabt and Dos Santos, WY.
No doubting their talent, but they all need to be first XI players who need a lot of management, which they didn't do enough to deserve while at WHL.

Well, we'd rather have Holtby. So that's O.k. Then..

Taarabt still doesn't convince me, even as a regular for QPR for the last few years...

    is this possible?

    http://soccerlens.com/why-lewis-holtby-rejected-arsenal/100646/?

pay attention to the final paragraph.

"This could again open up opportunities for Arsenal and Liverpool to make a move during this transfer window and will certainly keep Tottenham Hotspur on their toes. It would be also interesting to see if Lewis Holtby changes his mind, if Schalke accepts any offers from other interested clubs, having already negotiated with Spurs"

so despite having an agreement, we could still get Eff'd in the A?

if I've understood this correctly, I think it means that if Shalke get offers in Jan which they want to accept, then they can sell him elsewhere, should he agree to it?

This is what I was asking though. - because he's signed an agreement with us, could the above still happen?

also, I can actually see him joining this month anyway. I reckon we'll persist with AVB's target in moutinho and if it looks like it's going to fail, we'll bring Lewis in at the death. - I think Levy knows he's not going to keep the fans happy (and AVB to a certain extent) unless he does something about a creative midfielder and a striker now that Ade is off to the ACONS. - even if we miss a striker in this window, at least levy's got the "he'll be back in a few weeks excuse" with Ade. - but there's no excuse for not getting that creative midfielder that we all know we need, which is the final part of the Modric/VDV hole. AVB's gagging, the fans are gagging and levy has got to press the "chill, i've got this" button. <laugh>

Nah, it's written by a fool. Our deal with Holtby is watertight, he will move to us in July if we don't sort out a trasnfer fee for him in this transfer window, there's no way he can join anyone else.

Lets be honest, even if there is a slight possibility a team can still actually make a bid for Holtby (which I'm 99% sure they can't), there's no doubting Levy will have inserted some sort of clause that'd give us a percentage if sold, Begovic round 2 anyone? <laugh>
