With spurs not reaching c/l football next year, and redknapp stating that they are going to be spending this summer, WHAT IF...

The rumours that they may be interested in gyan were true, and an unrejectable bid came in and the move came off, how would you like too see the striker partnership look.

Would we be suited to the likes of a snq/skp look i.e a big striker with the little fella.

Or would it be two out and out forwards, two big lads,

Or is it more about speed and skill from two smaller one's.

If bruce doesn't make wholesale changes to the present squad, exept a striking partnership, what kind of pairing would be most suited to us....

Would cost a bomb for both and in return I dont think we would get many goals, I would have Welbeck for the future but Crouchy has turned us down before

Fair points and you're probably right, I just think it would be an interesting combination.

Who would you have to partner Wellbeck?

Well Gyan for starters as he is our main man, but I was thinking maybe Zamora as the big man, which Bruce seems to be keen on. Its definately a wide open debate at the minute as to exactly who will be our strikforce next season.

Personally I doubt it will be as formidable as Bent, Gyan, Welbeck & Campbell like the start of this season but you never know

We need to think less about how many goals the strikers will get, and more about players who can hold the ball up, back to goal, and get the midfield into shooting positions.

That's been our failure since Hutch left.

I still think, great prospect that he is, that Welbeck is not yet a main striker for the entire season. Part of the squad and able to play wide or through the middle but he is still learning his trade. I think we have a need for a more experienced, proven goalscorer.
