He did get worse, and I had no complaints over his sale. But has looked better and more solid at City, and the question really is why has he improved markedly since joining them?

when played at centre back, that has always been true. he was terrible at RB, but thats not his position. even TV, who can apparently play there, is dreadful at LB. u can't expect players to be on the best when out of position.
Well, I've seen Djourou have some shockers at CB too.

You've interpreted it wrong. He is sending a Tweet to Fabregas asking for David Villa's address in an attempt to be funny.

Yes, its funny how people only seem to remember the good performances.

Two Seasons ago when Vermaelen was injured (ankle) we had a Djourou/Kos pairing which leaked alot of goals.

To be fair there have been many cases over the years where players have been transfered and playing for a new team has given their career fresh impetus.

David Villa has been spotted at Heathrow according to Twitter.

But then if all Twitter rumours were true M'Vila would have had about 1500 medicals at Arsenal buy now.

Still.. would be nice.

There's also a '#FreeDavidVilla' campaign going...

@samuel29060: We gave you Thierry, Gio, Cesc, Petit, Overmars, Hleb, Song....now#FreeDavidVilla

@arsenalsheep: You got to love how they tap up our players then don't let us talk to the player himself! #AFC #FreeDavidVilla

@arsenalmad79: #freedavidvilla. barca you own us money and we are your feeder club. let him go. too good to be on bench.

@educatedgooner: David Villa on the bench for Barca again. #FreeDavidVilla

@ryanafc_: LOOOOOL how pissed off did David Villa looked tonight when he came on? Clearly don't wanna be there. #MindIsElsewhere #FreeDavidVilla

QPR have launched a bid of £6.5 Million for Yann M'Vila.

If M'vila gets bought for less than £10 Mill by another club I am personally going to roundhouse kick Wenger in the mouth.

Have you stopped and thought why M'Villa is apparently available for £6.5 million. ?

He's a player who has publically declared that he wants to leave - that's dropped his value. He's 6 months later on his contract, not sure how long he has left. He's had discipline problems, and he's no longer flavour of the months from the looks of it. In summer there was a bit of a bidding war allegedly going on that came to nothing. Now he's not so "high profile" he's considerably cheaper.

I did read he has been dropped by his club due to poor form and his disciplinary problems are well documented.I think it maybe the case that Rennes just want rid of him.Personally, as it stands i wouldn't want him at Arsenal

He wanted to move, and it didn't happen. Perhaps Rennes blocked the move and he's upset with them for it? People were suggesting the other day that Balotelli would be a good signing since Wenger turned RVPs attitude around. Sometimes those players with a bit of fire are the ones who give more on the pitch, it's about using that aggressive streak for the good of the team.

I wouldn't be against M'Vila coming in, if Wenger thinks he can handle him. I wouldn't want a sulker, or a lazy fool. I would want a class DM who is tall and a beast of an athelete.

As i said as it stands i wouldn't want him but if he learnt to behave and was able to produce his best form i'd welcome him with open arms. There's no doubt he's got talent <ok>

As cym has pointed out, therein lies the problem...
