I'm just gonna come out and say it...

    Who the **** is he?

I've seen a lot of people with comments such as "Eilhoff for me please", have they actually seen him play? Or are these the same people who insisted Tijani Belaid would be a world beater?

Youtube doesn't say much though. How would he look if they showed all his mistakes?

You can make Sonko, McShane,Alitdore etc look like world class

shaunindeutschland, I find your abusive comment to be rather unnecessary.

Anyway, this thread has done nothing as yet to convince me that anybody knows anything about him other than the fact we've been linked to him and therefore "we need to sign him", he's like a German Belaid. Who's a goalkeeper.

You know what thats the second good posting you've made this week. May get a tad tedious if you slowly go thro the first team squad plus loanees, etc. etc. Quit whilst youre ahead.

In relation to the topic. I dont know jack about Eilhoff. I seem to think there were youtube clips about Marney, Bostock, Folan and Manucho showing great runs/goals/etc. then arguably they produced little more than the length of the video clips in all their appearances for us. Hopefully NP and his scouts and coaches have done their homework and have a list of GKs to approach and the homework is a bit more than a few minutes of youtube.

Marney was 'the complete midfielder' according to then Spurs' gaffer Martin Jol.

Folan was 'going to become a Hull City Legend' according to PB

McLean is one of the best close range finishers you'll see according to P'Boro fans.

Manucho was going to be better than Beattie according to Duffen.

Belaid was class on youtube, as was Manucho.

The moral of the story is you never know **** all until you see them in black n amber.

leedstiger - you're right about TWFy. When he's not in WUM mode/arsehole mode, he posts some thoughtful stuff.....

    The more, the better.

we dont know anything about him, but i trust NP and AP.

he's free, will cost little in terms of wages, and is worth a punt.

Who was the striker we signed where the best comment in the press conference about him was that "he gives us the opportunity to do something different up front"? Think it must have been L1 season because the first comment I saw/heard in response was "Yeah he gives us something different, the opportunity to be ****".

I've come to the conclusion that TWF either has Schizophrenia or is puffing the magic dragon - possibly both.

Twf is right in the sense we don't know him from Adam. All we have seen is in YouTube and, yes, anyone can look good on YouTube.

The thing is, though, I trust NP and am confident he knows a good keeper when he sees one.

I also noticed he's got decent stats on FIFA so that'll do me.

Haha, Aaron Wilbraham or Delroy Facey?

The only other striker we signed around then was a certain Mr Barmby, and somehow I doubt it was him.

For I can believe TWF has produced to posts that are actually worth commentting on!!!

I dont think anyone has said "He will do for me", I think most, myself included see him as a back up keeper. He is on a free, should be on low wages, a decent age, no doubt NP and Shakespeare have kept an eye on him, he has had a trail with us and impressed the boss. This all bodes well for him.

I think we can be safe that we are away from Duffens "youtube" scoutting system (remember him saying he saw Zayatte on youtube after an agent suggested him!!).
