From January next year it will be known as: "The lovely old club ****ed up by Fat Mike Cashley @Geordiewasteland.co/United". Fan zones on the internet were flooded with praise and pity for the innovative new name. Weyheybonnylad said:" I always though St James' Park was a stupid name and now we will have a brand new name that will tell the world what we are really about up here in the noocarstle." Another, MAshleyman, said; " I think it's brilliant. It's different and it's cool. That Mike Ashley is a right genius." Mike Ashley was unavailable for comment but at a press conference his spokesman, Mr D Llamd-biased, said: " F-off you southern prats.
