i like them diagonal balls..the way they carry...and if you shorten the pitch he would still be a yard behind the rest? maths is not my forte.
Right don't kill the messenger, but on twitter some guy who was apparently "correct over all transfers last summer" has said that a fee has been agreed for moutinho and apparently it's now "down to the player" and there's "a few bits to sort out". Like you guys, ill believe it when it happens, but this guy is adamant and other people are backing him up and saying he's credible. Also saying willian is out of the question, as is sneijder, but there is still a big interest in leandro, but nothing to report as of yet. Apparently Gomes is not in brazil as part of a deal for leandro, he's simply over there on a holiday and trying to find a new club. We shall see...
I believe that Twatter is normally just a medium for the mentally challenged. However, Vamos a ver as they say over here...
So do I. Might explain why I'm on it!! However as I've said before, I've tried to filter out the bullshit. There's 1 or 2 people that seem to go on about hating the bullshitters, so I've continued to follow them. Ill be disappointed if it is bollocks, as they are generally pretty accurate and shoot other liars down in seconds. If they are now talking ****, I too will probably give up with it. Hopefully it's true chaps. Apologies in advance for getting anyone's hopes up if its total crap. Fingers crossed.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I hope there's some truth in it too. However, as it's Twatter, and as we've just had the Sneijder story recently, I don't think I'll be placing too much of my life savings on it actually happening. Having said that, Moutinho is e player AVB originally wanted - and that Porto were wiling to sell - so it certainly is plausible.
Vamos a ver, but I'm not going to get incredibly disappointed we didn't get Moutinho twice in six months. Eso no. I will wait until I see him running onto the field in white and navy (or grey on grey) to believe we've signed him.
Just thought I'd revive my favourite cautionary tale of ITKs from the dim and distant past. On old606 one of the regulars got very pissed off with people claiming to have inside knowledge and posting utter, utter ****e. He explained on the Bill Nick article there that he was going to create a thread to show that anyone could do it and people would believe them and back them. The stupid thing is that the BBC itself ran with it, as did The Sun. 26th August 2008: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A40119257 27th August 2008: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/7584737.stm Pavlyuchenko, Arshavin, Huntelaar (went as far as contacting his agent), Veloso and the inevitable sale of Berbatov. Embarrassingly **** journalism, frankly.
Isn't his contract up in the summer? Can't we just pay it up now and be done with it? Cheers for what you've done for us Mr Jenas and good luck.
Those links brought back a few memories noticed quite a few posters who are on here still, and a number of good ones who aren't Even found the BBC quoting me.
