You slate him for supposedly referencing skin colour and you go with teeth. I really don't see a difference. At least he leaves his baggage on the pitch and goes home and doesn't beat his wife into leaving him
Really? You're equating racially abuse with comments about his teeth? Jeez, what is this, the 17th Century? Also, Suarez attempts cannibalism on the football pitch - which, I assume, you'll cite Alive as another example for it merely being Uruguay's national past-time... And, let's be honest, there's only one club with a track record of wife-beaters. http://www.theweek.co.uk/football/10653/andy-carroll-court-girlfriend-assault http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/jan/08/liverpool-stewart-downing-suspected-assault
All that's alleged is a slap, hardly a beating but then again what would a Liverpool fan know about beating anyone?
If a woman slaps a man, nothing is said, in fact most people would laugh! If a man slaps a woman, then all of a sudden he is some monster and should be shunned. Not that I'm condoning any sort of violence towards a woman, but let's not claim VDV is some sort of wife beater as they could have just had an extremely heated argument, feelings running high with the end of their marriage on the cards, and VDV acted out of character, and I'll guess it was a one off incident.
Violence in relationships is wrong, but it's even worse when there's a clear difference in physical capabilities and there are children involved. I'm not going to defend someone on this sort of thing just because we share a club affiliation. Can we not take this thread down that road though, please? It's supposed to be relatively lighthearted and it's far better that way.
I think Suarez is a great player but a mate of mine was at the QPR game the other day and said he saw him at the player's entrance and he smells of wee.
"supposedly"... You suppose WRONG. There is no reference to 'skin colour' in any of the above reply's. "go with teeth"...Yes BBF, don't you see the LIKENESS. "I really don't see a difference"... Your right, UNCANNY isn't it,. I can't either. "At least he leaves his baggage on the pitch"... unfortunately BBF this is true also and you are easily lead.
Well what a funny league this is, Villa beat Liverpool 3-1 who then get hammered by Chelsea 8-0, then Liverpool hammer QPR 3-0 and then QPR promptly beat Chelsea 1-0. There is a pattern happening here but for the life of me I can't find it.
Another good win for Liverpool Important for you guys to show you can get back to back wins again. Need to be able to go on a proper winning run now to get up the table and challenging for 4th, who've you got next?
Fair play, this was a good result for 'Pool, in a match that I expected them to lose. But they were really up for this one, and they played about as well as I have seen them all season. If they can maintain one or two more performances like this one during the rest of the season there is every chance that they'll finish in the top half of the table. And if Arsenal continue their bottle-job, they might even trade positions with them at the end of the season, and finish 6th or 7th.
I'd love it if you did, though You did. It all seemed to come together for you, tonight. Sunderland are a tricky side, despite their lowly position in the league, and they would have gone to your gaff expecting to come away with something. But you knocked the stuffing out of them fairly comprehensively.
