Theres afew names going round on the Internet, afew familiar links and some new ones too.

    Players
    Ba
    Zog
    Figeroa
    Johnson (brimingham)
    Bothroyd (free)
    Gameiro
    Negredo
    Hutton
    Vukcavic
    Wickham

and on the managerial front, Oneill.

If true who of those above would you take?

I put Oneill in to inform not to get in a Bruce v Oneill debate so keep it to the players.

Personally I would take them all bar figeroa (over rated player in a poor defensive squad) and if we signed afew of these, the likes of Negredo and Johnson we oculd push for top 8 next year which would be a good feat considing you cant see the likes of Villa being so **** again.

    Thoughts?

johnson, ba hutton are a yes for me,

    bothroyd and whickham are maybe's,

gameiro, negredo and vukcavic, i'm not in a position to cast judgement, cos i don't know them,

and as for the two wigan lads, please no.

but i'm sure there's many more names to come, hopefully some that make us take notice.

Bruce will be in charge that is a certainty if we want to progress.

Firstly we need to tie up a deal for Onouha (£6 million)
Next step is to sign strikers as this is a priority for next season, Zamora (£8million), Welbeck (£9 million)
Next is a left winger, Inzogbia but providing Wigan go down I would say we could get him for (£8.5 million) or if Downing's contract talks fail we could lure him to the SOL witht he help of Catts for about (£10 million)
Next is a left back, which I honestly have no idea who we could get as they are a premium at the minute and I have a feeling Bruce may just keep Bardo there next season.
Central midfielder next as Catts cannot complete a full season and I know we have Meyler & Colback but it would be a risk in my opinion to rely on these lads, therefore Craig Gardner from Birmingham (£6 million)
Jarvis from Wolves as replacement for the aging Steeeeeeed but would cost (£7 million)
Finally Hutton on loan with a view to buy from Spurs wouldnt be bad business.

Possible spending = £44.5 million but considering we have £24 million for Bent's sale its not too bad but still a lot of money to spend and not including a new left back.

Finally this is how I think we will shape up next season,

    ---------------Gordon--------------
    Hutton---Onouha---Bramble----Bardsley
    Henderson---Cattermole--Sessegnon---Inzogbia
    ----------Gyan----Zamora-------

Subs: Jarvis, Welbeck, Steed, Turner, Ferdinand, Meyler, Colback, Noble etc

Ba , Bothroyd, Downing, Jarvis would all be solid additions.

I was talking to a Greek lad today at work, Olympiakos fan, chatting about footy, as is usually the case, they have released Raul Bravo, former Spain international left back, who's still only 31.

I said 'was he any good'

He said 'looked great but was injured 90% of the time'

    Match made in heaven?

Just been doing some research on Vukcavic, is it Boris or Simon, because they are both midfielders, Simon being a goalscoring midfielder?

Simon Vukcevic. If football manager is anything to go by then he is incredible! I had him a few years ago and he was my top scorer for Barca haha ;)

Is Superkev not worth a punt, as a squad player, hes trying to get an extension at brum, just as a mascot even.

    Best. Idea. Ever.

Imagine Superkev running round the sidelines riling up the fans, putting his hand to his ear pretending not to hear them... only for the fans to shout louder. I reckon that could draw a few more people into the stadium to help out his ol' mate Quinny. Could get some chants going, and throw in some beach balls, maybe even a few blow up sheep to the skunks when they are visiting (and Cardiff fans if they make it next year).

I think gooners'll get Samba, he's been linked there for months and Sturridge will probably go back to Chelsea or stay on at Bolton (for a fee 15m or so and a pay cut?)

Not so keen on Figeroa or Riise tbh
