He must love Pardew like I love stinky scabby alley cats...

I love stinky scabby alley cats too, Gandalf and would rather talk about them at the moment, and not the football. I want to say something positive, but right now, cannot find any words. However, tomorrow is another day and l will fall back in love with both kittens and NUFC, as ever.

Almost another year, time to blow the cobwebs away and concentrate on the future.

I admire you for supporting your team but have to ask if they let in seven goals and are described to have played well you will have to pray that they never play badly

We certainly are near the relegation zone. However I'd say the relegation fight starts in about March. I think we'll be well clear by then <ok>

We ARE in a relegation dogfight, until proven otherwise.

I don't know about whether we were tired, since being tired obviously was no reason for us to concede the first 3 goals. I don't think we expected to win this, so most of us are immune be it 4-3 or 7-3. It's just the way the team defended that is really horrifying.

The midfielders aren't helping, Tiote strolling around when needed(obviously he was gassed), the midfielders Bigi/Tiote giving possession away cheaply that set up their goals......

Also, was I the only one mad at Shola for not tracking back after we were counter-ed on our counter attack that led to a goal? I mean, seriously, Cisse and Ba have played the whole game, Shola has just come on as a freaking sub and when we lost the ball, Shola can still walk around up front ? Get back and foul him or something FFS Lack of effort

I'm taking a step back, waiting to see what happen's in January.
If you can get to the game on Wednesday, get behind the lads and let's hope we can do an Everton and have a stronger second half to the season.

Up until tonight I've looked at our position in the league and thought "we're a couple of wins from mid-table and can build from there" but a single win seems a long way off at the moment...

I think the doomsayers are OTT and would still bet good money on us not going down but there's no doubt its not a kneejerk reaction to predict misery ahead. Indeed, its getting hard to justify my positive outlook, i still feel that we'll be ok though.

Another 3 points dropped but I expected a draw.
Some negatives... but also some positives to take out.
As I've said before everything rests on the January window. A good shopping spree and key player retention and we will be mid table.
Failure to strengthen the defence and we will most certainly be in a dogfight.
