If we can offload Arshavin and Chamakh in January, that would be a good bit of business.

Not sure how to react to this news. Talented player, but ain't fully convinced especially for that reported transfer fee and also his wages.

He's often portrayed as selfish, but honestly I don't see it that much in his game. He's obviously ambitious, and he can be a very important part of the forward line at Arsenal, compared to Man Utd. where that department was completely saturated.

That is to say Nani would be one of the best signings out of the ones already mentioned, though M'Vila would be a great deal as well.

Oh, and if we were after him, Wenger chose a pretty terrible time to chip in with the Fergie accusations. <laugh>

I think the Nani stories are hot air personally, but I wouldn't mind seeing him at Arsenal, he's a decent player and would make a decent replacement for Walcott if he leaves.

I would say if we keep Walcott then we have 3 players who can play the CF position (Theo, Giroud, Pod) so the priority might need to change to a wf in which case Nani would be a more than decent acquisition. Still think top priority is a DM/CM and i am still saying Fellani first choice. But apparently both Sissoko and Mvilla ae available on the cheap so they are definite options. We can readdress the striker issues (if there are still some, honestly didn't expect Walcott to start as well as he has) in the summer (only if we keep walcott)

If Walcott stays i think we really need to look at LB and a DM

Striker can maybe wait until the summer

Purple nose has said that Nani isn't going anywhere

If Sagna's refusing to sign a new contract we might need to be looking at RBs as well

I won't be linking to it but supposedly a friend and former colleague of Zaha has 'confirmed' through tweets that Zaha will join Arsenal.

I won't mind if we lose, Zaha is NOT what Arsenal need right now. Enough youngsters with future potential, we have enough of that at this club, we need 25-27 year old ready made players to get the job done. I don't at all see the point of getting another young winger with future potential when we already have one at the club in OXO? Not to mention we have another one out on loan to Wigan.

We need a world class striker, and another quality and experienced creative middle man who can either play out wide or in the middle.
