Would be great to see them at Hull next year although doubt we could get Danny Graham.
Think i would take that line up

I'm not so sure about this Eilhoff guy, everyone is going on about him as though we should defo sign him when it's very unlikely they've seen him play.

Not heard Danny Graham mentioned before, though i'd imagine if Watford had promotion ambitions they'd want to keep him. Somehow i expect us to sign more players than those listed above over the summer, permanent and loan signings. As a consequence of this, i'd expect a few to head out of the club.

What are you talking about? I, like the majority on here, follow closely the exploits of Arminia Bielefeld, I'd go as far as to say they're my favourite 2. Bundesliga club. I have to say he's a very good keeper, as I'm sure most Arminia Bielefeld followers would agree.

Do i sense a touch of sarcasm there?? <laugh>

I actually do follow the Bundesliga, but still know very little about Dennis Eilhoff.

Arminia Bielefeld seemed fairly established in the Bundesliga until they were relegated to the 2. Bundesliga in 2009. The season Eilhoff joined the club. This season, they've finished rock bottom of the 2. Bundesliga. They're currently 12 points adrift, and only Karlsruhe has conceded more goals than them. And the 2. Bundesliga really isn't anything special.

We don't know what's gone on at the club (3 points off for breaking regulations), so maybe off the field issues have played a part; but even so, that's a pretty piss poor record.

I know nothing of him - but looking at the background, I'm really not sure he's the right man for us.

I follow Bundesliga a bit myself, and don't remember ever seeing this guy play, but the management team seem to be good at picking up unknown talent so who knows?!

Conceded goals don't necesarily mean anything for a keeper though, there may just be an appalling defence. Imagine our defence against Boro, every single game. Keeper would be helpless.

Scunthorpe shipped 87 goals this season but it's still been suggested that we sign Joe Murphy. Granted he only played 29 games but on average that equates to him conceding 55 in 29.

Similarly, Robert Green has conceded 64 in 35, that doesn't make him an awful keeper. (guaranteed someone takes a swipe at him for the World Cup game vs USA)

Anyway, for all we know, Eilhoff could have been absolutely superb but had a terrible back-line to support him.
