I don't like the Pro Bowl. It is held a week prior to the Super Bowl. The results count for nothing and the risk of permanent injury is there.
Although a great honor to be selected, I'm not sure that playing it makes a lot of sense from a player's perspective. What if you get hurt just before you become a Free Agent?
If I was a Coach of a team that was going to play in the Super Bowl, I wouldn't want any of my players getting hurt just prior to the big game.
