That is exactly what happened. ash had the right to clear the ball, its his job and unfortunately it hit rvp but it could quite easily have hit our player. its what he is suppose to do to clear the ball when in our own area....now when cantona did a kung fo kick at a member of the public then that is not in the laws of the game....ash's clearance was...

No wum at all but I really think Williams did intend to hit Rvp. Fergies comments were ridiculous though.

Only Williams actually knows whether he meant to hit him, but he was never going to say so even if he did though.
Bit of a fuss about not much at all IMO

Of course he did it on purpose. That's why he was so shocked to recieve a yellow card.

Michu could have had serious damage last week after Lloris punch, but there were no complaints because he was doing what he was allowed within the laws of the game.

<laugh> He just stood there with his chest expanded further than Katie Price. I say the ref booked him for slamming a ball at RVP' s bonce at 100 mph. Very unsporting behaviour.

I agree that he did it on purpose Chico. <ok>

He put his head up against RVPs. Watch again.

    You can't do that.

There is no way he meant to do what he did.

ITI - know Ash quite well and he is not that sort of player and accusing him of trying to break someone's neck makes you look a little foolish! To be honest I find all this childish point scoring that go's on on both of our boards crass in the extreme. I have stated in many posts on this and our board that I want Cardiff to join us in the Premier League and I can assure you that GBH will be the last thing on our minds if we are ever lucky enough to watch a Premier League derby between our great teams.

As for the incident that you clumsily allude to there was no evidence of intent, and as much as you would wish to hang him in a kangaroo court, it aint gonna happen! In fact Sir Alex has been ridiculed by many, including his own team's fans, for his sensationalist comments; 'the most dangerous thing I've ever seen on a football pitch'? He seems to forget that his very own Roy Keane ended Alf-Inge Haaland's career with a viscious pre-meditated 'tackle', and subsequently boasted, in his autobiography, that he went onto the field with the intention of injuring the player!

So please don't get dragged into the purile 'point scoring over our rivals' bollox ITI - thought you were better than that!

So please don't believe the hype ITI - it may be your team one day

Personally I like to think no player would intentionally go out to hurt another but as we all know it does happen.
With regard to the Williams, RVP incident I do not think he intentionally kicked the ball at RVP. But I do agree it could have been a much more serious injury to RVP. Make no mistake even the most innocuous blow to the head can prove fatal.

Can't believe how many thought I gave a **** one way or another.

Plan: Look for a currently contentious subject, comment, and try and get more hits than Gangnam Style on youtube. <laugh>

Merry Christmas you daft buggers. <ok>

Bit late to post on this after all you daft buggers-

    But come on man!!!!!!

A football in the head?! Get over it!!
Countless times I've been kicked in the face and never once reacted like RVP. (Probably because I was out of it but there you go).

With regard to rivalry I will admit I support Swansea in the Prem. there- I said it!

Balls hit you, it's football, (especially when Minxy plays it)

maybe he meant to do it, maybe he didn't... But come on man!!

This all boils down to Rudolph Ferguson , time and time again.

    Nadolig Llawen!
