I watched the Prem games today just to gauge some of the potential opposition should we finally realise our top flight dreams again. It's probably safe to say, on that form Chelsea will muller us. As for other clubs involved today I think we could give them all a game of it. Though I would be worried about the safety of our players due to the comittment of some opposition players. Perhaps I'm just a bit over sensitive but attempting to break a players neck goes against the grain for me.
Put your rivalry to one side. It was clear as day that Williams didn't mean that. Only one who was against the grain was Robin Van Persie for acting like a right idiot after. Oh, and Sir Alex with his 'he could have died' over reaction.
Sorry fella, he was looking at him when he smashed the ball into his head as the guy lay prone about a foot in front of him.
ITI - Don't be a numpty!!! Ash didn't smash the ball at him on purpose, he was clearing his lines which, as a defender, you are meant to do.

I fully understand defending one of your own Chico but he didn't need to smash the ball into his head like that. Clear the ball away fine, but he knew the potential damage that could have been caused surely.
First time I've seen this, I think old rudolph was a bit over the top there. "could have killed him" AW not my type of player but red nose not this wrong.
You are probably right there but I don't think there was intent to "kill him". I will wait to see that happens, if old red nose speaks the FA **** themselves.
There is no way he intenionally kicked it at him. If anything, he mis-kicked it (sliced) which took it into Van Pesies direction. Do tell me how to correctly clear the ball?
