Damned if we do.. damned if we don't…. more often than not buy our own fans!

Would you rather we signed no one at all, sure its better than a slap in the face with a wet fish? (however, I hear said wet fish is pretty hand at the false nine roll Brendan likes to play.. and has worked with him before in a local canal!)

I am aware that these two may not be the world beaters we want to sign, but such is our lot in life right now!

If/when they sign, I'll be giving them my full backing.

With regards to Bironi, do we never learn? Wasn’t Lucas vilified when we first bought him? Give the guy some time/run of games, he needs to get used the club, the style of play, his teammates, doesn’t happen overnight!

TBF Borini played half a dozen games centrally and looked woeful at best. But I do agree with you that it is hardly fair to write the lad off considered how long he's been at the club and the length of time out injury he's sustained <ok>
 
Everyone is frustrated at the moment and that's understandable but we need to back off and start backing our players, people are constantly having a go at Gerrard and Borini also gets a lot of flack.

The Downing and Cole situation will be dealt with in Jan (we hope) and hopefully a couple of players will replace them.

Gerrard is a legend and deserves a bit of patience and Borini is a young player who could turn out to be very good for us, time to chill fellas have a few xmas drinks and keep the faith.

Although posters criticise players, I don't think there is a lack of support. Same with Ince/Sturridge, posters are moaning but they will get our backing should they join.

Not sure about Cole and Downing leaving considering BR's comments regarding a lack of numbers in the squad. Plus, we have a very young squad as it is, those four players mentioned moving as suspected would reduce that age further.
