I like Waghorn to be fair, saw the highlights of the Derby game (i think it was that game) and he looked very good, he'd av had 3 or 4 on another day!!

Waggy only cost 50p

The official lcfc sites wrong just like big nick didn't cost £2.6 million!

It wasn't the OWS. And I've never denied Prosser cost £2.6 million at all. I know he did.

I liked him when he was here at City on loan, but that still doesn't defend his goal:game ratio as I'm pretty sure I used to be john fallen wouldn't take our word for Prosser's good performances. IUTBJF seems to think that Prosser should be scored a brace a game from the bench. He's quite obsessive really.

The thing is now a days 3 million pounds is nothing for a player. We´re living in a world were clubs are paying 80 million for a player. Go back about 20 years & he (Waggy) would of cost us 10,000 pounds, 3 million is sweet fa now a days. Anyway there is more to his game than scoring goals, he´s a good worker/team player.

That's what we've been saying to you lot about Proschwitz for ages!

Jesus Christ, bit different when it's swung the other way round... <doh>

I'll react like IUTBJF...:
But you signed him as a striker... So he needs to score goals... which he doesnt do... so therefore... he's ****!<laugh><ok>

If £3million is nothing, then Prosser's £2.6million is even smaller...

as a Hull city supporter i must admit i thought Proschwitz was brought in to score goals.

i am suprised that he has hardly been on the pitch...

was his signing a mistake ? will he get in the first team and grab the goals we all hope he will ?

Simple fact is he hasnt played enough for ANYONE to Judge him yet...

and lets face it every single player anyone signs is always a risk / gamble
as BOTH sets of fans know already...

Yeah your right 1884, when you see Man City paying 22mil for Joleon Lescott and Man United 8mil for that Bebe(to name just two out of hundreds) just proves every team pays well over the odds for very average players some times. We payed you around 1.2mil for Fryatt which is very good value for me, i honestly believe with the service he'd be getting at City this season he'd be flying high in the goal charts. Swings and roundabouts thou isnt it, you do some great deals financially and not so great others.

He is a striker and was obviously brought in to score goals. There's no getting away from that.
The fact that Simpson and Aluko have kept him out of the squad, doesn't mean anything, it just means there's other players in form, and you don't drop players in form or else you wreck their confidence. Prosser has just moved Countries, is having to learn a new style of football and is having to adapt, he'll come good eventually.

"On 31 August 2010, Waghorn rejoined Leicester City on a permanent deal for a fee rising to £3 million to help fund Sunderland's record signing Asamoah Gyan."
<ok>

Nope, it would get more discussion on this board. You lot seem more into this sort of thread. <whistle>

19 goals in 98 appearances actually.
"Leicester City Career Total 91Apps 19Gls"

So he didn't cost 3 million then <laugh>

****ing hell, brains of britain up north.

The fee rises with promotion, m'dear <ok>

Don't bother with excuses.

You've been conned by a German 2nd league side <laugh> Stitched you up like a kipper!

It never said anything about rising with promotion, it states you bought him and the cost of installments from appearances rose it up to £3million. It has risen to £3million so strangely enough, he cost...

£3 million!

They aren't excuses, they're facts. You're trying to tell me that moving from Germany to England isn't moving Countries? Or that the Championship is the exact same style of football as the Bundesliga 2.? <doh>

There isn't any way to defend him, he should have scored more goals. But what more can we ask of him if he's only sat on the bench. Simple logic.

What a daft thread.

Waggy looked a very good prospect for us when he was here last season. Would have liked to have kept him.

£3 million!

Show me the proof rather than a copy/paste from Wikipedia and I might actually hold back the tears of laughter.

Give it a rest, even fellow Hull fans are embarrassed with this thread <ok>

Not really.

I see the 'Has the Hun scored yet' thread as no different to a 'has the Paki scored yet', 'has the ****** scored yet', 'has the Chinky scored yet', or a 'has the arse bandit scored yet' thread.

It's far more embarrassing than a paradoy of it.

They're both ****e, to be fair.

Yip ..your right and we are all wrong, he has been a great signing, prolific goal scorer in the waiting... perhaps we should start a "has charlie scored yet" ? thread... being the 37 yearold virgin that he is.. no doubt we will hear his cherry being popped all the way down here.. or even better.."has OLM scored yet"? thread.. but is their anything with a pulse in humberside willing to take the risk ? <ok><laugh>

Has the Hindu scored yet?

Is that funny?

I'm afraid I'm not racist and I don't understand your sense of humour at all.
