We have avoided it with 2 games still to play and a full 1st team squad out injured for virtually 1/2 a season, personally i am over the moon.
 
How could a Sunderland supporter be anything but pleased? We've had the debate about the Manager - the camp's split. Doesn't stop you being happy that we're safe, surely?

To be honest mate, i ain't arguing with your point, but after weeks of **** would be nice to enjoy the feeling of a good result tonight, instead of more negativity.

Believe me, you won't find a soul who's happy with the season.

Yes I am of course, but I want more! I want 7th! Fool aren't I?

So. I'm happy but UNDERWHELMED. Survival. Great. Lets go for 12th next season. Wonderful.

You have to remember this is only our 4th season in the PL and to get 7th

Chelsea
Arsenal
Liverpool
Spurs
Everton
Villa
even Man City and their millions have been it it a lot lot longer than us and have settled nucleuses on their side. Even Bolton, Wigan have been in it for longer than us.

I'm pleased we are in the Prem for the fifth successive season. I'm 32 and i've never seen that before.

We have had a terrible injury list and a bad run.
Short and Quinn also need to take some of the blame and im sure they are all working to put things right in the summer
I was there today and the lads were brilliant lets get behind bruce and the team instaed of slagging them off.
Ive never booed my team and never will
Roll on the summer and see what the transfers bring in.
 
Dont even try to patronise. I have seen several 2nd div championships, 1 3rd div championships and some runners up and an FA cup a++ho+e. So I know my club - even if you dont. I believe we could have more soon, but not with the likes of you accepting what we are being fed at the minute, you t+ss+r
