Options we won't take up - Belaid, Amoo, Akpan.

Players we'll try to move on - Bullard, Olofinjana, Ghilas, McShane, Kilbane.

Players who'll be released - ***an, Gardner, Duke, Atkinson.

Players we should try and shift - Harper, Mclean, Cairney, Cullen(the latter two possibly on loan).

Players who we might sell - Koren.

I suspect there will be a lot of business done in the summer.

What's the transfer value/wage status on Olofinjana?

I agree with all your suggestions, 6 months/a year on loan at league 1/2 club will be good for Cooper and Cullen. The management team will know who is good enough to stay on next season and will have potential signings in mind and almost wrapped up in some cases.

Oli is on about 20k a week! I reckon we would let him go for a million or so.

I agree with your verdict OLM. It'll leave us with the following squad:

    Goalkeepers - Oxley
Defenders - Rosenior, Dawson, Chester, Cooper
Midfielders - Devitt, Stewart, Evans, Garcia, Solano, Barmby
    Strikers - Fryatt, Simpson

Just looking at that squad shows us exactly what we need. 2 Goalkeepers, 2 Centre Backs, 2 Full Backs, a Winger, 2 Central Midfielders, 2 Strikers.

From the wages we'll have freed up, the Allam's should hand us a transfer budget of around £4m. That will mean on average we'll be able to spend around 400k on each new player.

    absolutely spot on OLM

NP will be furious what kind of advert is that for fans wanting to renew season passes eh?

The players don't care obviously, they're overpaid..

There aren't enough Barmbys in the club.

He's on well over £20k a week, so unless a Premier League club come in for him, he'll probably leave on a free. QPR and Cardiff are both keen on him, allegedly.

Agree with OLM, I also hope they shift Devitt and Solano, neither are upto it.

It'll be almost a completely new team:

    ...................Einhoffen-German.................
    Rosenior......Chester......Hobbs......Dudgeon
    Newbie.........Danns.......Evans.......Stewart
    .....................Newbie.....Fryatt................

Subs: Newbie, Newbie, Newbie, Newbie, Simmo

I think Solano is being offered a coaching role, I don't expect to see him playing much, if at all next season.

The German keeper is called Eilhoff.

It sounds like Nigel has decided to make wholesale changes already, I'm not sure why Burnsy was pressing him immediately after the game, he was never going to announce details of the players he was getting rid of on the radio, ahead of telling the players themselves.

Interesting post match interview with NP.
Number of players were playing for their club future today.
Discussions with players on Monday as to who stays, who goes.
Hope to finalise Evans and Gudgeon deals on Monday.
Garcia not signed contract, just had a knee operation, so will see how that goes.

    Jobbo,

Who are the Newbie brothers? 6 whizz kids?

seriously though.. you're about right, Solano likely to stay on in a coaching role.

Garcia "hasn't signed his contract yet" accoring to NP on radio.. he's had a op too.

When did Oxley sign an extension?

Looking at the potential team for next season it must be one of, if not the youngest in the division:

    Mannone (loan)

    Rosenior, Ayala, Hobbs, Dudgeon

    Koren, Evans, Chester, Stewart

    Simpson, Fryatt

I think Bradley, Oxley, Emerton, Holohan and Townsend have all been offered new deals, with much of the rest of the reserve team being released.

Agree with most of this but would keep Mclean and possibly Cairney
Think they will be ok as squad players

I'd say that there is no chance of NP selling Harper or Mclean.

What was the logic in playing Mcshane today? Shop window perhaps, still doesn't make any sense.

I've seen the £11k quoted as the Cardiff contribution, but I'm not sure that he didn't have a relegation clause, according to the Fail his wage is nearer to £20k, so I think we might be paying half each.
