No self respecting mild drinker would be without his or her trusty pair of sandals. By the way Dorset you should get yourself to the Weymouth beer fest in October - I go every year - great beer and great people

What the **** would you know about beer drinking that NZ piss. With an SG of 4.0 and over Banks's is as good as any of the crap you can buy over there. I know I've spent enough time there. Anyway who the hell goes out with the sole idea of getting pissed that's a child's mentality.

Baysitting my grandson for the night, always a pleasure, even though he's only 9 weeks old I'm trying to get his first word to be Stokoe or Porterfield, his grandma thinks I'm crackers, but what the hell

I have not seen it but Banks were taken over by Marstons so you might see it in Marstons pubs. Great day yesterday some excellent beers, good company and I seemed to have a dream that a team in red and white chunky cardigans wearing sandals beat Bolton 2-1 - can't be true can it? Good stuff that mild!

Mild is a style of beer nothing to do with strength - usually beers that don't have a hoppy taste. For instance Sarah Hughes ruby mild is 6% - and damn fine it is too! Anyone coming to Bristol try the Seven Stars (Pub of the year in Bristol for the past 2 years) and the Cornubia - great beer and both close to the train station.

Almost right Seaham Lad, Banks (Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries) took over Marstons but the only mild you can get in any of their pubs is Banks's. SAFC73 I was stuck in Invercargill for a few months back in the early 80's. Not noted for it's famous nightlife. The only beer I can remember I think was called Speight's. I know that I was not overly impressed
