Sometimes in life we all need a rant.

Ranting is a very good way of venting your spleen about issues that cause you stress and we are all aware of the dangers of stress.

    So.

    I’m miffed to the extreme.

    I moved house.

Old landlords have been swines about EVERYTHING! The house wasn’t cleaned to her standard (well, her illegal Turkish cleaner’s standards) so she paid a cleaner to do some work. £75 it cost for a house that the agents deemed perfectly liveable to move straight into.

The alarm: Despite that we never used it and didn’t even have the alarm codes they are trying to bill us for it as it’s not working. £400 to replace.

Electronic garage door: Never used the garage as it was full of their items yet now the door doesn’t work so it’s my fault. £150 for parts and £65 per hour for labour. 4 hours work estimated.

Coffee Table: Yes, there were some heat marks on the coffee table. They claim it’s ruined and as such has to be replaced outright. They want £250 to get a new one. I objected and a French polisher has restored the table to its former glory for £15.

Dish Washer cutlery basket: Wear and tear but they want me to pay £40 for a new cutlery basket!! Who the **** pays £40 for a goddamn plastic cutlery basket!!

Kitchen blind: Never even knew it existed as we never used the thing but it’s broken and we have to pay £100 to replace it. It was probably bloody broken before we moved in!!

Raffia Laundry Basket: It’s cracked but it was kept in the garage with THEIR stuff and I have to pay £50 to replace it? Go **** yourselves!

Kitchen Bin: Has a dent, They need to replace it as it’s unusable. £75. £75!!! For a bin!

Agents are on my side and said this couple are the worst they have had to deal with.

Close to losing it and becoming an Arsonist.

Was thinking the same thing about halfway through. Weren't you only living there about three days or something? You seem to move house a lot. They sound like the kind of ****s who sue their employer for their own stupidity and negligence. Worthy recipients of an arson attack in my opinion. <ok>

Lived there for 10 months. I generally move once a year... but have now amassed so much crap it's getting more difficult.

10 months and you only managed to rack up £1400 worth of imaginary damage. <yikes>

£75, for a bin! Jesus Wept!

How can these people even think for a moment they can get away with charging you all this?

I've just had to send a load of PMs to people on the F1 board as part of my Mod duties. I then had a serious, real-life email to send to someone and finished it with:

    "Cheers,
    AG."

Unfortunately. I trawled through the most recent messages in my Outbox and I think it's the first time I've done it.
