If a lifelong chelsea fan gets upset about a bad managerial appointment then that's up to him - some people are way too judgemental and one eyed about these things.

Beale I gave an ott rant about Benitez and swore off CFC for life. Several wiser heads on here made me reconsider. Please do likewise. I loath Benitez and feel even stronger about our management, but don't give up on the club because of those tossers. It was there before them, will be there after them. Look at it this way, if CFC improve, then it's a good thing for us fans. If they don't, it proves what ****wits run our club . However it's not so good for us who will have got it wrong!!!

I agree to an extent CP. I'll never turn my back on my beloved CFC, what I'm saying is I won't spend my hard earned cash to contribute to that guttersnipe Benitez's wages. Of course that won't make a blind bit of difference in the grand scheme of things, but for me it's the only way possible I can, as an individual, display my disgust.

And I'm not exaggerating with 'disgust'. That's exactly how I feel about this neanderthal taking the reigns at the Bridge.

Good. We need people on here who can do more than slag off others. Too many of them.
I can't for the life of me understand Benitz' appointment or worse RDM being sacked. We clearly have a team in progress, have clearly identified our shortcomings and should be fixing those up, not blaming the manager who last year did exactly the job RA now thinks only Benitez can do !!!!
It's the dunces who run this club that I have a problem with. Not just the football either, we are always up to our necks in scandals. Not an ounce of humanity or integrity in any of them, just snouts in the Abramovich trough.
Will watch with interest as the rest of the season evolves.
Only a matter of time until players want to walk away from the shambles we create for them. Abramovich, Chelseas best friend, his own worst enemy.

After a couple of days in the job is Benitez really in a position to be saying that Lampard and Cole will leave Chelsea next summer? Cole has always come across as a loathsome twat but he's arguably the best left back in the world. Surely at only 31 years old he's worthy of another 2 -3 year contract?

Nice try stirring things up. It's excellent to see Rafa is already getting under your skin but this is not news about Cole and Lamps going. I think the surprise will be if it is the summer and not this Jan.

Yep. Fergie is rattled already. RB owned him with the line: 'I thought we were playing Manchester city not Manchester united' after hearing about SAF bitching

Not sure anyone's agitated or rattled by Rafa judging by that pile of ****e game against City. My 6 year old could have had more impact than Torres did.

Why would you want Cole to leave?

Current club policy re 30yrs and over contract extensions being limited to 1 year. So nothing to do with RB.

Mad policy, have none of you seem how brilliant Giggs has been this season? In the Norwich game he reminded me of Zidane at his strolling best.

Booing Rafa on his first game.

Middle aged men holding "Rafa Out" banners.
