Sure, maybe not. The charge is extremely vague: "The 25-year-old is accused of using threatening and/or abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour in or around the match officials' changing room at Stamford Bridge." There is a big difference between "insulting words" and "threatening behaviour" so it will be interesting to learn the details. Even being upset would not excuse the latter.

The FA does have a strange interpretation of this sort of stuff. You can call people more or less what you like on the pitch as long as the language isn't racial and no cameras are nearby (Rooney), but off the pitch using offensive or threatening language is an automatic charge (Williams). But using racial language off the pitch is less severe than using it on the pitch (Rio, Carlton Cole). It's all in their rules, but the rules sometimes make little sense.

P.S There was NO evidence for Suarez.

Other than Suarez admitting calling Evra a negro and that he was trying to wind him up. Yep. Other than Suarez' word, no evidence at all... <sitsbackand awaitsDDDDDD/dongarant><whistle>

When Fergie Passes away, a Jimmy Saville type scandal will happen. But not about kids, but refs <yikes>

You heard it here first.

Bit harsh to suggest Lord Ferg has been fingering refs Sky.

He doesnt even think they are fit, infact he said so a few years back. Called them fat heffers.

He prefers the souls of Liverpool fans Sky <ok>

Not sure why the FA's statement on Clattenburg is being treated as news. Ferguson delivered his adjudication weeks ago.

Yet more proof the FA is corrupt, run by Fergie and his cronies, still waiting on Evra to be charged after changing his statement 3 times

Just incase people missed it <ok>

Missed what...? <whistle>

Part of the FA statement following the decision earlier today.

"Furthermore, all Participants are advised to report any such alleged misconduct to The FA. In this case, the player and club were correct in reporting the matter to The FA and it was appropriate and proper for such an allegation to be thoroughly investigated."

Looks like Chelsea did the right thing from the FA perspective.

But as you already know Suarez never did say "You are a negro" to Evra in either English or Latino Spanish.

But according to radio 5 live, somebody is advising Clattenberg to sue Chelsea - I wonder who could be doing that?
