laughable, we wont be in europe next season and we wouldnt have deserved to be! That was a near full strength squad, if we were in league 2 and the winner, automatic promotion and all the play off teams qualified for the europa, we'd probs still miss out!
 
It might be awful, but at least we're through. Spuds and scousers have yet to qualify!
Be thanful for small mercies - at least we don't need to get a result in France!

It was absolute S.IT tonight. Why can we not trap a ball 1st touch, pass to a B&W shirt, get a decent tackle in or stop moving off side ?
Their goal was yet another counter attack, Krul kicks it long to their keeper who ROLLS it out to one of his own players, they then pass it with nice one two's before wham 1-1. It's getting to be too repetitive now and yet we do nothing about it.
I have been very worried these past weeks ,and as I have said before, I see us as a bottom 6 side on current form and with Benni & Cisse also now missing we are in deep ****.
 
I didn't have the misfortune of watching - work commitments, but I've seen some ****e over the years to be a bit more laid back about it.
Remember 4-0 v QPR (at home) just before Keegan signed in '82? My list could go on - see worst experience threads!!!

In fairness, we did qualify for the last 32 tonight.... Perspective lads. We've been in the Championship not too long ago.

Stay positive. We'll get through this rough patch as we always do.
 
I'm normally positive even when were poor, but today was a complete pile of ****. We won't finish top ten playing like this at all, we obviously have the potential to finish top 6. but sadly we do not play anything like it.
 
It was poop. I was too tired and drunk last night (1 in the morning here) to come out with anything sensibly sweary. So i went to bed. I'm at work this morning in Qatar and going home to Newcastle tonight. So i'm too happy to get vexed. Probably will though when i watch it again tomorrow.

Worrying though this slump and all the injuries.
